Example:

Team A has 4 possible keepers

Team B has something less than 3

Team A trades one of his players to Team B to get some value instead of just dropping them.

In the past I know I've done this for a swap in say round 4 or something of position.

If Team B keeps 2 or less players can they trade their 2nd or 3rd round pick to Team A as part of the trade to acquire that keeper? Maybe another pick goes back to Team B to keep the player count even?

When this rule was put in place, this part was addressed and the vote was only round 4 or later picks can be traded prior to the keeper deadline.
