I like Brady at 1.06, Beaumont. I think there's a real drop off after the first 5 RBs and Brady gives you primo production and consistency.

In other words, I wish he had fallen to me at 1.10.

Playing it safe in a 16 team draft is a recipe for failure.

full disclosure: i forgot i was even in this league until a couple hours ago, when bushwacked PM'd me to say it was my turn to draft.

I'm a night huddler now but I will preselect to the best of my ability.

I'm finding pre-selection tough past the next round - the 16 team format, slow pace and different owner strategy is throwing off my draft mojo.

I believe the time limit is 16 hours.

Lewis was a good choice there - one of the few RBs left that carry the load for his team. There were more explosive guys on the board, but I'm guessing they'll be sharing a lot of carries in muddled backfields.

I should have an easier time with the 14th as far as being able to get two preselects in. I will have to check in often leading up to those picks. This is my 3rddraft and I start another tomorrow so if I can check-in, I will at least every 12 hours.

1.14 on the clock. At 1.16 I'm looking at Larry Johnson with Wayne to follow at 2.1. I'll get at least one.

I was extremely tempted to take Romo at 2:9 but after takign WR in round 1 I had to take a RB here. Looks like another year of underperforming QB for the Commander.

Me too. I went Edwards in round one and with MJD sat there at 2.02, it was a no-brainer.

Sitting at 2.14 and watching my 3 top choices go off the board - AJ, Graham & TJ - left me with a S Holmes

I'll comment on the House draft...

Some of y'all are 'over-paying' way too much for those rookie RBs. I'm also surprised to see some TEs getting picked already.

Grabbed Whitten as the best receiver on the board at the time. Dunno why the others are going.

I think I WAYYY overpaid for Big Ben. Thought I would have scrub QBs by the time the next swing rolled around, but only two more QBs went in the next 32 picks.

I took Witten at 3.01. Just you wait, newbie. By week 7 TEs are, well, tight.

Unfortunately for me, I always do well in the beginning of the season to the point where I don't have a chance at some good meat on the waiver wire...then my players get injured and there is noone worth getting.
