Rez rolled and posted his roll here. I never received the confirmation email. His roll is a pretty good one and the actual roll itself can be confirmed on the server (we can confirm he rolled those numbers, can't confirm it was his only roll).

As I believe that we all share a fairly similiar sense of integrity I am inclined to allow the roll. Does anybody object?

I can re roll Blitz. If you didn't get the confirmation email then I screwed it up somehow. I'll see if I can get to the dice server from work. If not, I''ll do it first thing when I get home
REZ
ok, I re-rolled. I quadruple checked your email address.
Let me know if you get it.

Funny thing ... I can't find your new roll yet ... but I found your original one in my SPAM folder ... all is good now.
REZ
I was wondering if that's where it went.
I think either way I had the lowest roll.
This last roll was like 261
So, was wondering if we can trade draft slots?

Your two keepers are set. So by our rules you are required to specifically spend 1.01 on SJax and specifically spend 6.12 on Ryan Grant as a result of all the rolls; i.e. you don't have a 1st round or a 6th round draft pick to trade. This means you and I couldn't simply swap spots because you don't have a 1st round pick to give me for mine, I don't have a 2nd round pick to give you for yours, I don't have a 3rd round pick to give you for yours and you don't have a 6th round pick to give for mine.

Obviously this sucks if you keep a 1st rounder (like you did) and your roll results in you getting the 1st overall pick. It is not so bad if your first rounder is LT and your roll nets you the 1st overall pick.

We had a heated discussion on this several years ago that I believe ultimately caused TNG to bail out of this league. I am however willing to revisit this topic. It would be better to make a change like this in the off season but I am open to the idea of discussing this change before we begin our draft.

We don't have to revisit it. I didn't see anything about it in the rules so thought I'd ask. Obviously in my case this year it would be beneficial for me to switch slots so my 2nd round pick could be higher, but it's not a big deal.

From the rules:

4. Owners will forfeit the draft pick in the current year's draft that corresponds to the round where the kept player was originally drafted.Once draft order has been established each owner automatically forfeits his draft picks that are associated with his keepers; i.e. if an owner gets the first overall draft pick and has a first round keeper then he will automatically forfeit the 1.01 pick. If his other keeper is from the 12th round then he automatically forfeits his 12.12 pick. Once draft order is established the appropriate draft picks for each owner’s keepers are inextricably tied to each keeper and may not be traded away. EXCEPTION: If, before August 1st, an owner has 2 picks in a round for which he must forfeit 1 pick for a keeper, the keeper will be assigned the pick that is most advantagous to the owner. So if an owner has pick 3.02 has a result of the dice roll and pick 3.11 which he acquired in a trade (before August 1st) and he has a 3rd round keeper, the keeper will be assigned draft pick 3.11 instead of 3.02.

Ok, my reading comprehension needs some work.
