Well the draft will finally start. We are under the gun a little so everyone please try to keep on top of when your picking. I will have to start a timer soon, probably Monday. We need a little flexibility for the 1st few days, especially since it;s a weekend. I have general itals who will be taking an orphan team. I also have a friend who is taking another and my son will be filling in for the leftover. I should have the Generals pick in the am and then will get my buddy and my son to submit theirs. TechmoBeast has never responded to my emails or pm's and i have gone to my MSHB bretheran to get a Saints Homer. At the very least i'm sure one of them will draft for the Saints.
Once i have all the Homer picks i will start the Draft. Since there won't be a timer it won't matter if we start early, so you guys at the top try to pre-select or check in here to see if we have started.
Thanks to everyone who stepped up and to all the returning owners. I know the next week or so will be tough but i'm sure we can get this draft done in time for the start of the season.

I have started the draft. We have all the Homer picks and there are pre-selects for 1&2. I'll be pm'ing owners as they are getting close but i'm not at a coomputer much during the day. So if you see someone is up or close drop them a line.

FYI - I will not have access to a computer on Monday until late. I will make sure my first round is preselected, but if by some miracle it gets around to me again, don't hold your breath waiting for pick 2.

I know we all have real lives and FF comes second BUT we really need everyone to check in at least once a day. If you can't get back on and your coming up soon PLEASE pre-select. It shouldn't be too hard to pop in 7 or 8 names. I again apologize for getting this going so late and really appreciate all the people who stepped up to help fill the league. We only have 8 days left to draft and a Holiday weekend coming up. If we don't kick out a few more rounds soon i'll be forced to either leave the timer on over the Holiday or shorten the timer. Maybe down to 6 hours and off from midnight to 6am. I'd really like to get 1 round in a day until Friday and then i'd feel comfortable that we could finish in time.

i agree. i think we should skip Vinatieri is God -- nothing against him, but it has now been nearly 39 hours. if he's being held up because of some emergency, then i doubt his 32 more homers team is of much concern (as it should be). if he's just away for the weekend, then tough sh!t, he should've pre-selected like the rest of us.

He did pre-select but apparently he didn't load enough players. If he hasn't picked by the time i come on in the am, I'll make a decision on moving forward.

I see the new post, and I still think we need to skip him. The season starts in 3 days, and weve been stuck on his pick for almost 2.

Its great and all the people preselect, but there is obviously still a need to check in. As montster said, nothing against him, but there are 31 other teams here that wanna get this done. I say skip him, let him pick when he gets back to you. Otherwise we might be stuck all day on his pick again.

Sorry guys. I was in Florida for the holiday weekend with no access and loaded 10 pre-selects. As of my last check -in (Sat around 7:00 at the Fed Ex Kinkos store no less), Slaton, B Jackson, Porter, Johnson, & Jones were all still available so I thought I'd be OK.
