Rez kicked off the 3rd round by taking Roy Williams.

With Sjax and Grant already on my roster, my obvious need was wr.
There was 1 rb that I liked here but we only have to start 1 and can start up to 4 wr's. Went with Williams and Holt. 2 other wr's were close but they both had issues that nudged them down on my board.

Steve Smith (CAR) in the 3rd round ... amazing what a 2 game suspension AND a QB coming off an injury does to a player's draftability.

Smith and Housh were the two wr's I as also considering at the turn. With the suspension and Housh's hammy they didn't quite make it. Tough to pass on Smith there though.

Yep, and it's not like Williams has any issues...

the perfect wr wasn't there. Smith out two games and Housh is hurting and Cincy seems to be falling apart.
If Holt and Williams were slam dunks I wouldn't have debated. And they probably wouldn't have been available for me to pick.

Well, I pulled the trigger on Housh...his hammy isn't a sprain or anything...he just says it's sore. MRIs were negative so no structural damage...and I figure Cinci is screwed up every year so what's gonna make 08 any different? It could be worse, we could both have Peyton Manning who looks to be sitting out for quite some time...
