It's my alma mater, yo, but come on....less than 2 TDs @ Oregon? I'm not seeing it.

This team might be the best Husky football team in five years and I would be shocked if they managed to win more than 3 this year. I hope I am utterly, completely, and totally wrong.....

I had Stanford covering last night but my sack wasn't BIG enough to put that against my Huddler brothers g-bash.gif

My Huskies will be in the game. Donatell will make a difference. We've got to "steal" a couple this year. I've been to Autzen twice and it's a bi#*h to play there as the visitor and especially given the rivalry between the two clubs! We definately have our hands full.. Let's hope Jake's hamstring survives and our young WR step up. If our running game with Polk can keep them honest then I think we got a shot.

I'm going to drag myself to see the Cougar's @ Qwest on Saturday morning. Never thought I would do that but Brandon Gibson is a close friend of my son and I will be there to watch him. Special talent. Single handedly beat my Huskies last year at Montlake. If the kid has another big year he'll end up in the #17 - #35 slot in next years draft.

I like this grouping. I was close to putting Nebraska and Wisconsin on my list. As the weekend arrives I'm a bit worried about Tech covering.

It looks like Locker will have to put his club on his back AGAIN this year. I was impressed the way the Husky's battled back the last 20 minutes of the first half but the Ducks have waaaay more athletes than the Huskies. Their defense just fly's around the field. I can't see many teams matching the Ducks athleticism. They have incredible athletes at ALL the skill positions. I was impressed with Jake's accuracy for the first 2/3 of the game. When he got fatigued though you saw his accuracy decline. With their NC schedule of BYU, Oklahoma and Notre Dame I see only 4 wins this year. Damn, I miss the swagger of the old Huskies g-bash.gif
SLAYER
A 10 pt start not bad. Only losses were those Michigan teams, can't wait for SEC football.

I have 12 pts with the ucla game to go (I can add one more if ucla covers). Michigan surprised me.

For this one week, I am a prognosticating god. Fear me.

Considering you piggy backed them off of the guy who posted his picks before you.....

I'm sticking with my original prediction of 3. The Ducks were completely out of the Huskies' league with their athleticism, and it's not particularly fair to nitpick everything about this performance because maybe Oregon's super stacked and very awesome. That said, the Huskies looked terrible. Can't run, can't throw, can't catch, can't block, can't tackle, and didn't look prepared. And it's only August. sick.gif

couple things homie- UW and WSU are gonna fight it out for 9th and 10th in the conference -

and even tho Stan beat and covered vs. OSU- they aren't very good and I would lay the chalk anbd OSU all day long, kind of a strange, fluke W for the Cardinal- but hey a L is a L I guess.

Huskies will finish 4-5 in the conference, ahead of WSU, Stanford and either OSU or Arizona. The Cardinal win was no fluke. The Beavers are not that good as proven by their need to throw the ball 54 times! The Huskies will improve and their defense isn't as bad as the first 7 minutes and the last 10 minutes of the Duck game showed. Just sayin'.

take of the Entmann jersey and wake up - yer nuts if you think UW is going to do anything besides battle to stay out of the cellar - OSU, UA are both MUCH better and will dummy UW - Stan very well could be in the mix- but make no mistake this UW team is limited and piss poor.

yes, the Stan W was a fluke- did you watch the game? OSU qb was shaky, threw a pick 6, a goal line INT not to mention the fumble at the end of the game - and he missed a couple home run balls to Stroughter- OSU covers that game 7/10 times and they are the better football team

4-5 in Pac 10 play? not a chance in he11

Good teams don't need to throw the ball 54 times!

I like my Entmann Jersey. 4-5 write it down!
