I see every team with some weaknesses... and some are even overloaded at some positions of strength.
Selly has Peyton, and better hope he stays healthy and has a killer year. Too many RB's that will share the ball. Lacks a stud WR,,, so the TE's better have big years.
Crazy's RB situation is similar... especially if Grant's health deosn't improve, but the WR corp is the best one in the league, offset by a very average TE crew.
Me: If Slaton wins the starting job (very questionable) this is easilly the best RB group in AGS. Solid WR corp, but zero depth. Very average QB's, but none that might get demoted in Eli and Cutler. If rookie TE Keller has a good year, might support the shallow WR group along with Owen Daniels.Saving Grace: 2 good D's for this scoring system.
Trots got his hiney out of the pot with that Rudi Johnson release. Now he has two good RB's. If Marvin has a good year, a VERY solid WR group. Not a big fan of LJ (hurt WAY too often) or the under-performing V Davis who is still searching for that elusive NFL stud-dom he was supposed to possess. Smart move in carrying two team D's... in this league, anyways.
RC.... I'd be on pins and needles with the Brady foot injury... VY is just awful, and the RB's have ??? all over them. MaGahee, fine, but R Rice would have me worried about him too. Indy's O line is so banged up... Addai could struggle, but might get more outlet passes. I think Edge has gone over... the hill. Can't say I like the commish's WR's either.... Meachem looks like he's buried in the depth chart, and there will be an Eddie Royal sighting in week 1 before he disappears into the sunset when B Marshall returns.
Cheif.... the Rudi trade hurt you twice. that was a big hit, but Brees may be enough to overcome that. Solid WR roster, but only one TE and 2 D's with the same bye week... an early one... not good. Still.... if McFadden has one of those AP rookie sort of rookie years... he may save yer bacon. You'll need to woork that waiver wire before week 4...
The Ho's have to hope the two TE set can work....the QB's are hardly studly, and only Lynch isn't in an RBBC. Fitz is great, but the other WR's have questions and or a history of inconsistancy. Brent will have to play matchups all year with 3 very good TE's... play them right, it might work.
Perch may have the most well rounded roster in the league... no glaring holes, just solid at each position with good depth outside the QB spot. Heap gets hurt every year... risky to have ONLY Heap in this TE heavy league. 2 VERY good team D's.... I like this roster.
Aliens also has a well rounded roster, with strength at QB, solid at RB, a little light at WR, but great TE tandem. has to hope Mush has a nice year with his new team and S Smith doesn't hog the ball... that would be very helpful.
The Dirty took some gambles... will Favre be any good in the wind instead of the snow? RBBC issues with that crew.... except for Brown, that WR corp is older than the hills... and me, even. Gates and Gonzo aren't what they used to be... can they rebound? The Jets' defense?
After Anderson and SJ, I find it hard to like Jabber's roster, but I haven't made the playoffs for 3 years... so that is a good sign. I hate ocho-boy, so I am biased. I find it hard to warm up to Crumpler in Atlanta and Lee with no Favre.
Now, Tominators DOES have the best RB corp here... it's ridiculous! Four primary starting RB's. Nuts. There was a price to be paid... Moss is fine, but with 3 WR's, it's not enough to start two all year. The TE group doesn't scare me either. That RB corp will still be enough for this roster to contend.
Preditions? from me? LOL!
