Hoping Peyton is healthy enough to put up good numbers this year. Like my WR's, but don't like my RB's. And really need Joe Horn to sign on with a good team. Hoping he could put up some good numbers as a #2 or slot guy..... Think I still have a shot at winning my division, but not sure after that....

-----------------------------------------------------------------

QB - weak
RB - strong (if Peterson can stay healthy - no depth)
WR - average (with pretty good depth for a 32 team league)
TE - weak (but could be sneaky and make a run at average)
PK - strong
Def - strong

Overall I think my team will be competitive most of the year. If Peterson goes down, I am boned. Orton looked pretty good in the pre-season so I am hoping for a nice surprise from him this year... but realistically that QB spot could really hurt my chances.

I am beginning to regret the purchase decision, over Jamal and Winslow or.....

Actually, I am an idiot. My TE's have a week 8 bye, 3 of my 4 RB's have a week 4 bye, and my bye week is week 5.

QB - Positive. If Cutler continues his improvement, this could put me in the running. g-headbang.gif
RB - Positive. Need Lewis to just come close to last year and I'm ok. Unless Shanny decides Pittman is better than Young/Hall. g-bash.gif pullhair.gif
WR - Positive - Marshall, Royal, Davis should be a great starting trio...hoping Avant and Thrash end up getting PT due to injuries. think.gif
TE - Negative - Really weak here, but I have a gut feeling about Rosario. And Sypniewski always gets PT with Heap being hurt. yuk.gif
K - Neutral/Negative - All depends on how Prater does. If well, could surprise...if not well, could tank my team. whacko2.gif
DEF - Neutral/Negative - Broncos don't look to be a good D this year. At least that should mean lots of scoring shootouts. sick.gif

Overall, I'm pretty happy with my team and I should end up being competitive. Unfortunately, my fortunes rest with the whims of Shanny. bag.gif sick.gif whacko2.gif g-bash.gif doh.gif g-rant.gif nutkick.gif slap2.gif pullhair.gif crybaby.gif whack.gif pokey.gif wedgie.gif

First time so I don't have much basis for comparison, but here goes nothing...

QB - Not bad, especially for having been one of the last few teams to grab a QB. Mike Martz offense should produce at least respectable numbers week to week.
RB - Terrible. Really would've loved to nab at least ONE for sure started. But I am only one injury and one muddled Texans backfield away from filling out.
WR - Really happy. I got two of my top 5 WRs in AJ and Colston. Here's to hoping they (and their QBs) stay healthy.
TE - Owen Daniels should be in for a good year.
Def - Mario and DeMeco starting to come into their own, but facing a tough schedule. :dunno:

Overall, not sure. But feeling like I'm scrounging for injury stricken voodoo dolls can't be a great sign.

So I seriously considered an Addai/Wayne ticket, but those two combined would have taken almost $45 of my $49 bucks, and was worried what caliber of QB would be left by the end of round 1..... granted, Schaub did fall to the General, but didn't want to take that chance on what might be available at 31....... Plus, I would have had to spend my time drafting homers to make up my squad versus seeing what other fodder might be out there....

Mediocrity rears its ugly head. For Studs I have Matt Hasselback and Nate Burleson. Ugh! Tough Division. The Rams have SJax and Addai. The Cards have Fitz, Boldin, James, and Warner. The 49ers have Gore and Wayne. At least my Seahawks have a rookie kicker. The Seahwks have offically thrown in the towel and are playing for a better draft pick next year.

Me entire team be available for a comely wench and a couple pints a rum. Or an ugly wench and several caskets a rum.

Yup NINE Homers and I like this team better than any I've had thus far. My WR are really weak, but with SJax/Addai, I can't complain. :-)

The real question will be if this is the year of the STL TE. Pretty big gamble on it.

I watched all the preseason games, and they appeared to be doing a better job than in the last couple of years.

And the TE position has seemed to get at least half of the overall targets.
