From my observations, we have a team (Happy Ending) that did not draft a DEF/ST. Illegal roster = illegal line-up = forfeit! Yea me! ;-)

The closest we have as a rule that addresses this is:

However, if you notice the pinned topic, T-Love can certainly go into blind bidding prior to the start of the season and obtain a defense, which I am relatively certain will happen. If he is out bid on defense, then he can pick one up in FCFS.
