Lobo's Liquidators (59.05) at In Praise of Mr. Terrific (127.75)

In Praise of Mr. Terrific were led to their 68.70 point victory by a 28.80 point effort from Willie Parker, who beat the Houston Texans defense for 138 rushing yards and 3 rushing tds. With this performance, Parker was the number 4 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 1. They also got help from a 24.95 point effort from Drew Brees, who beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense for 343 passing yards and 3 passing tds.

"We're going to savor this victory," In Praise of Mr. Terrific coach BartenderWJT said.

Lobo's Liquidators were helped out in a losing cause by a 14.20 point effort from Ladainian Tomlinson, who got by the Carolina Panthers defense for 97 rushing yards in addition to 15 receiving yards. They also got help from a 14.10 point effort from Greg Jennings, who got by the Minnesota Vikings defense for 91 receiving yards.

"I don't want to point fingers," Lobo's Liquidators coach Little Bighorn said.

This brings the record for In Praise of Mr. Terrific to 1-0, and drops Lobo's Liquidators to a record of 0-1.

Coming up in week 2, In Praise of Mr. Terrific are at the 0-1 Silver Surfers, where Silver Surfers are an early 12.4-point underdog, while the 1-0 Men of Steel are at Lobo's Liquidators, where Lobo's Liquidators are an early 64.3-point underdog.


Silver Surfers (115.35) at Thor's Hammer (126.25)

Thor's Hammer were led to their 10.90 point victory by a 23.30 point effort from Plaxico Burress, who beat the Washington Redskins defense for 133 receiving yards. With this performance, Burress was the number 4 ranked wide receiver for week 1. They also got help from a 21.85 point effort from Jay Cutler, who got by the Oakland Raiders defense for 299 passing yards and 2 passing tds in addition to 9 rushing yards.

"It was a workman-like effort," Thor's Hammer coach Bronco Billy said.

Silver Surfers were helped out in a losing cause by a 33.60 point effort from Michael Turner, who tore apart the Detroit Lions defense for 220 rushing yards and 2 rushing tds in addition to 6 receiving yards. With this performance, Turner was the number 1 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 1. They also got help from a 17.40 point effort from Adrian Peterson, who beat the Green Bay Packers defense for 103 rushing yards and 1 rushing td in addition to 11 receiving yards.

"We had our chances but we let them slip away," Silver Surfers coach Cunning Linguist said.

Compounding the issue, Silver Surfers could have scored 135.75 points and gotten the win with their best lineup, but Cunning Linguist left key players like the Chicago Bears Defensive Team and his corresponding 19.00 points on the bench.

This brings the record for Thor's Hammer to 1-0, and drops Silver Surfers to a record of 0-1.

The Martian Manhunters (104.05) at Men of Steel (135.35)

Men of Steel were led to their 31.30 point victory by a 27.35 point effort from Donovan McNabb, who tore apart the St. Louis Rams defense for 361 passing yards and 3 passing tds in addition to 3 rushing yards. With this performance, McNabb was the number 5 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 1. They also got help from a 23.60 point effort from Reggie Wayne, who got by the Chicago Bears defense for 86 receiving yards and 1 receiving td.

"We proved we're the better team," Men of Steel coach BigMikeinNY said.

The Martian Manhunters were helped out in a losing cause by a 24.10 point effort from Frank Gore, who got by the Arizona Cardinals defense for 96 rushing yards and 1 rushing td in addition to 55 receiving yards. With this performance, Gore was the number 4 ranked running back for week 1. They also got help from a 21.20 point effort from Andre Johnson, who beat the Pittsburgh Steelers defense for 112 receiving yards.

"They ate our lunch," The Martian Manhunters coach Irish said.

This brings the record for Men of Steel to 1-0, and drops The Martian Manhunters to a record of 0-1.

Happy Harbor Heroes (72.9) at Dark Knights (106.5)

Dark Knights were led to their 33.60 point victory by a 22.10 point effort from Matt Forte, who beat the Indianapolis Colts defense for 123 rushing yards and 1 rushing td in addition to 18 receiving yards. With this performance, Forte was the number 6 ranked running back for week 1. They also got help from a 20.60 point effort from Randy Moss, who beat the Kansas City Chiefs defense for 116 receiving yards and 1 receiving td.

"We'll use this win as a stepping stone to the next level," Dark Knights coach Timmypg said.

Happy Harbor Heroes were helped out in a losing cause by a 18.30 point effort from Thomas Jones, who beat the Miami Dolphins defense for 101 rushing yards and 1 rushing td in addition to 2 receiving yards. They also got help from a 11.50 point effort from Tony Gonzalez, who snuck past the New England Patriots defense for 55 receiving yards.

"They outplayed us in every phase of the game," Happy Harbor Heroes coach Stoperat said.

Causing further embarrassment, Happy Harbor Heroes could have scored 114.5 points and gotten the win with their best lineup, but Stoperat left key players like Eddie Royal and his corresponding 29.50 points on the bench.

This brings the record for Dark Knights to 1-0, and drops Happy Harbor Heroes to a record of 0-1.

Coming up in week 2, Dark Knights are at the 0-1 Aquaman, where Aquaman are an early 0.2-point underdog, while the 1-0 Shazamz are at Happy Harbor Heroes, where Happy Harbor Heroes are an early 55.3-point underdog.


Aquaman (90.3) at Hulk's Heroes (108.45)

Hulk's Heroes were led to their 18.15 point victory by a 23.60 point effort from Hines Ward, who got by the Houston Texans defense for 76 receiving yards and 2 receiving tds. With this performance, Ward was the number 2 ranked wide receiver for week 1. They also got help from a 17.40 point effort from Marshawn Lynch, who got by the Seattle Seahawks defense for 76 rushing yards and 1 rushing td in addition to 18 receiving yards.

"We knew what we had to do and went out and did it," Hulk's Heroes coach Doc Holliday said.

Aquaman were helped out in a losing cause by a 21.20 point effort from Brian Westbrook, who got by the St. Louis Rams defense for 91 rushing yards and 1 rushing td in addition to 1 receiving yards. They also got help from a 20.70 point effort from Chris Johnson, who got by the Jacksonville Jaguars defense for 93 rushing yards in addition to 34 receiving yards.

"You've got to hand it to them," Aquaman coach PSULions said.

This brings the record for Hulk's Heroes to 1-0, and drops Aquaman to a record of 0-1.

Coming up in week 2, the 1-0 Dark Knights are at Aquaman, where Aquaman are an early 0.2-point underdog, while Hulk's Heroes are at the 0-1 Team America, where Team America are an early 23.6-point underdog.


Team America (84.85) at Shazamz (127.3)

Shazamz were led to their 42.45 point victory by a 29.30 point effort from Reggie Bush, who snuck past the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense for 51 rushing yards in addition to 112 receiving yards. With this performance, Bush was the number 3 ranked overall fantasy scorer for week 1. They also got help from a 17.70 point effort from Calvin Johnson, who beat the Atlanta Falcons defense for 107 receiving yards.

"Not to take away anything from our opponents, but we didn't play like we're capable of playing," Team America coach Isleseeya said.

This brings the record for Shazamz to 1-0, and drops Team America to a record of 0-1.

Coming up in week 2, the 1-0 Hulk's Heroes are at Team America, where Team America are an early 23.6-point underdog, while Shazamz are at the 0-1 Happy Harbor Heroes, where Happy Harbor Heroes are an early 55.3-point underdog.
