This league has proven so close after week 1. I think TOS, hurting from the loss of Brady in multiple leagues, will still be fine assuming Turner continues to perform and Cassell can be a good replacement for Brady (I think both will do just fine).
On the other hand, I think Megalomania takes a hit with the loss of Colston for 4-6 weeks and the loss of Brady in relation to Welker.
I'm feeling fairly good. Could be better, could be worse.
What I am feeling good about:
Matt Forte. Matt Forte. Matt Forte. 1 week doesn't mean much, but if week one against the Colts means anything about Forte, I've got a gem on my hands.
Felix Jones. I was beginning to worry that Jones was a distant #2 to Barber, but the rib injury just goes to prove that Barber needs to be in a RBBC and Jones looked decent in his Cowboys debut.
Thomas Jones. He scored a TD in week one. For those of you who had Jones last year, you know how big that is no matter if it was against the lowly Dolphins.
What I am not feeling so good about after week 1 is:
Marc Bulger. I am hoping that the Rams just ran into one of the best teams in the NFL with the Eagles, but if their offense doesn't show up, I don't have a great homerun option at the QB position.
Johnathan Stewart. It's not so much that I think he'll be a non-factor, but I worry that I will see, at best, a 50/50 split by season's end as opposed to the hoped for 80/20 in favor of Stewart. I'm a still hopeful, but my confidence is shaken a little.
What are your thoughts?
I am uneasy..but I was that way after the draft.
i put up a respectable first week of points to get a win and overall feel pretty good. i was fortunate enough to avoid the slew of injuries for the first week, so my team is still intact.
feeling better about my 1-2 pick strategy of bush and wayne. the ppr factor kicked in big time for both those guys and they look strong. i also like my depth at the RB position which lets me start 3-4 each week. the kitna/big ben QB combo still looks workable.
top area of concern is my WR depth. i need white and someone else to step up here. i know baskett is not the answer, but he's guaranteed to be more productive than bennett. hester is gone as well as i just don't see any consistency there. still like walker and feel that he will be usable throughout the year.
as i said up front, my team's success largely rests on mcgahee. if he can come through with the year that he is capable of, all of a sudden i have many more options.
oh, and i still don't like yo's team ...

You had to go there... McGahee looks like an up and down proposition, but if he can remain healthy and have decent production week in, week out. You should be fine.

Week 1 was one of the most disappointing weeks for me. Losing Brady in multiple leagues was a killer. I had to spend most of my money to secure some FA , I think could help me out at Flex and of course Cassel
I may have overpaid, but I needed to.
As far as my team, I am very happy to have 4 legitimate WR's and a TE i can count on each week. I may be shy in RB , but playing 2 WR's over a 3rd or 4th RB gives me an advantage. Top 30 WR/TE will always outscore Top 30 RB's in PPR leagues.
Scoring the 2nd highest with only 3pts from an injured Brady and having Brandon Marshall on the bench serving his suspension gives me hope that with some consistent RB play, I should be able to compete with 4WR's this season.
Cotchery - Marshall - Owens - Shockey and possibly a nice PPR sleeper in David Patten and/or Eddie Royal will hopefully be able to give me a chance each week.
