Each week the Elias Sports Bureau updates the official statistics on Wednesday or Thursday. We did not do this last year, because I didn't realize that it was an option until midway through the season. When we were at RTSports, they did it automatically. The question is, should we apply these changes to our scores each week? Please vote and let me know what you think. It does have the ability to change the outcome of a very close game.
Rovers
Nuthin worse than watching a close game and squeaking it out, only to find out you actually lost 4 days later. If the foot were on the other shoe... winning 4 days later holds little joy... a tainted victory. There has also been some talk about stat changes even a week later.... so, it's a deadline issue.

I like to keep things simple.... come Tuesday at noon, it is what it is. No debate, no arguements.... allowing these stat changes also f-s with the FA priority. Why complicate the whole thing? KISS.... Keep It Simple, Stupid. biggrin.gif

I'm stupid, so I like it simple.....

I agree with Rov's for 1 point, it would affect the waiver wire also. If it's not chnaged by Tuesday 10pm, thats what time I would like to see it go by. Why lose if you didn't? Just trying to be completely impartial here, I don't see a tainted win, if you won had the stats been right to begin with. That said, I wouldn't want the waiver order incorrect either. If the time can be set, I think noon is irrevalent where as 10pm gives the stats boys plenty of time to fix their stuff.
Brentastic
I initially voted 'yes' just because. After hearing Rovers, I would like to change my vote to 'no'.
Dirty Sanchez
I voted yes, but I agree with Chief. I don't mind the stat changes as long as it is done before the weekly waiver pickups. If it is after that, it shouldn't be done.
Roller Coasters
The changes are regularly done on Wednesday evening or early Thursday morning, so they would never be done in time for our current waiver schedule.
