There is a possibility that the Houston v Baltimore game will not be played Monday night. Given the powers vested in me by our rules:

QUOTE
"If in the event that an issue must be solved urgently, and time precludes a robust discussion, the Commissioner’s powers to rule on an issue are all encompassing and omnipotent."

Therefore, I now offer what I feel is the fairest judgment: If the Baltimore/Houston game does not go this week, it should be treated as a bye week for those players.

This is the only ruling that makes sense. If the game is postponed until the end of the regular season, it will be after our playoffs. There is also a rumor that The Texans' bye week (Oct. 26) is a possible make up day. The Texans and Bengals have the same bye week. The Ravens' bye week is Nov. 9. The Texans host the Bengals on Nov. 9. The Texans could host the Bengals on Oct. 26 and the Ravens on Nov. 9.

Make your plans accordingly. If you need to pick up a free agent for this week, do so following our rules. No special considerations are going to be made. Particularly if the game is moved to the Texans' bye week as this will mean that Baltimore and Houston simply traded when they had their bye week.

It is now being reported that the Hou-Balt game is being postponed until November. Therefore, everyone needs to treat this as a bye-week for Houston and Baltimore as they will not have byes later in the season as scheduled. Adjust your rosters as necessary.

Thoughts out to the folks in Houston.

So, will a PK pickup cost me $10?

yes...just like I'll have to do when Carolina is on bye and I'll need to replace kasay.

are you seriously not going with a kicker? eeediot keeeckers
what good luck I have to be playing a team loaded with HOU starters this week. I mean, not good luck. I mean sheesh. I really feel bad for your team this week, hope they're all OK...ummm or something like that.
How do you say it?

But, you are able to pick up a PK and bid $1 on him. I didn't get that option, based on your ruling.

I'm not paying $10 for a bye-week filler PK when everyone else has the luxury of doing the same for a $1.

Having a hurricane impact the season sucks.

However, if I allow $1 pick ups for kickers, do I also allow $1 pick ups for other players? After all, you have 3 players on your roster that are impacted. In addition, should I only allow teams who are impacted to have a shot at $1 FCFS? Do other teams get this special dispensation? Do other teams complain in a few weeks when they get outbid on a bye week filler and end up having to pay $10 for FCFS after I gave out a $1 FCFS? Where, exactly, should I draw the line?
