The bids in MFL need to be reviewed for processing, at least at this time. I may change that in a few weeks as I get a feel for things. Puddy processed them in the past, so I am not very familiar with how things look in MFL.

Anyways, the reason that I post this is that these Waivers will not get processed at 7 PM on Wednesday evenings. As a rule I will try to get to them at approximately 10 PM. I am just unavailable to process them at 7 in general on that night.

I want people to know that so that nobody has an advantage/disadvantage when it comes to getting in FCFS moves. If a change occurs I will update in this forum.

Carry on.

Are we doing these through MFL now?
Caveman_Nick
Yes, and as far as I know we were doing them that way last season.....Email was supposed to be a back-up for last year as we tried MFL out.
gilthorp
You're right. I remember doing that via the site last year.

The bids are processed.

The site does not seem to show the losing bid amounts. I don't really want to have to type them out, and in this case did not note them all down....but I will see if I can figure out how to have that data show up in the reports.

Just my 2cents.gif
but I don't see a point in posting the losing bids or team's conditional bids. We went through this in a BoTH league last year and in a nutshell the argument against posting conditional bids was that it may tip you hand as to players/positions you will try to acquire next week or in FCFS. And with regards to lost bids, I don't really need or want my opponents to know what positions I tried to strengthen and how much I was willing to bid on them.

It is also possible to run waivers on a timer so the commish doesn't even see them, if the "sharing of information" is the point of posting all of them. smile.gif

I am aware that it's possible to run them automatically. However at this time I am more comfortable checking them and processing them manually in case someone comes to me with a problem. By next season we will go to fully automatic.

The only reason I would even be remotely concerned about posting losing bids is that I get to see them, so I would not want anyone to think I had an unfair advantage.

If we didn't trust you, you wouldn't be the commish smile.gif

It will show them if you click the down arrow, but I know of no way to print copy them.

Hi RR,

Thanks...I know that. I was talking about in the reports section so that others could see it smile.gif
