I BB WW'd Jones, Mark CAR WR, and I have no idea why! Can't even figger who I even wanted, but it was a mistake!
Anyway, I was going to drop him in the same week I drafted him. I checked OUR rules and there is nothing forbidding me from doing that, but upon further review all my other leagues forbid that and I think it is justified. So I want to propose a rule change for next year that a BB WW/FCFS player MUST be kept for at least a week.
Comments Welcome as always.
No need. We simply set MFL to lock all dropped players until the next BBs are run.
Wider note - pickup and immediate drop are sometimes done to deprive an opponent of a player. The lock that goes on the player post-drop prevents FCFS being used to pick him up, of course. That's why leagues typically don't allow it to happen.
From a personal point of view, I can't imagine spending so much time poring over rosters so that I'd have a clue who anyone else wanted to pick up. I can't even keep up with my own roster crock of poo.
