The mid-season plunder will occur after the Week 6 games have been completed. You may now submit the three players who you wish to designate as "hidden treasure" to 32HomARRRRRRs@gmail.com. These players must be submitted by 6 AM CT on Tuesday, October 14th. The Plundarrrrrrrrr draft will begin Tuesday, October 14th at 8AM Central time and run until finished before week 7 games. Do not post in this or any other thread whether your picks have been sent or who your picks are. A topic will be started at this forum in which the Plundarrrrrr will be conducted by our friend alchico. The order of the draft will be posted at that time. Read the rules of the Plundarrrrrr below. Any questions can be asked in this thread.

5. Phase 4 - Mid-season Plunder(to occur after Week 6)

A. Each team would be allowed to draft one player off of a fellow league mates roster.

B. Each team would be able to designate 3 players as "Hidden Treasure", thus protecting those players from being chosen in the Plunder Draft.

C. Each team could lose only a maximum of one player. After a player has been taken off of that roster, all other players would be off limits.

D. A team can be plundered only once, whether that plunder is successful or not.

E. A player that has been plundered once cannot be plundered a second time.

F. Teams will not reveal who their "Hidden Treasures" are. If a team attempts to plunder another team and chooses a protected player, they will not receive that player and their choice is forfeit. They will not receive a second choice.

G. The order of the plunder draft would be worst team to best team after Week Six.

H. A teams homer D and K would be off limits. Team QB would not be, however, if a Team QB is plundered, the plundering team would have to automatically give their Team QB back in return, essentially resulting in a forced trade.

I. A team may choose to forego plundering when their draft position comes around. The effect would be to freeze their entire roster from being plundered by any teams choosing after them.

For clarification of item "D" (above) from last year's thread...

A "Plunder" is an attempt to grab a player from a matey's roster - whether successful OR NOT!!!!

So, as an example, Aye try to plunder a player, but he turns out protected, but someone successfully plunders one of my players, so I end up w/ a short roster! Or am I missing something?

Alas, that is what happens when you don't protect yer treasure and don't have a good map to anybody else's. You would indeed be short a player, which is legal in this league, unless the player lost puts you under the HomARRRRRRR limit. Then yer only choice would be to go fishin' in the barren waters which is the free agent sea!

Just wanna confirm something that I think I remember from last year.

If another team tries to plunder one of my players, and that player has been protected. Then my roster is locked from any further chance of plundering, right?

I read this as you can only lose one player, does'nt say only 1 person gets a chance to get a player from you.

Big John is correct. I now realize that I did not properly update the rules to reflect how the Plundarrrr was run last year. A team loses no players if another team attempts to take a protected player from them. Their roster is locked and no other team may try to plundarrrr them again. Sorry for any confusion.

Well it's almost that time. I have almost all the teams arrrrrrounted for.
I'll be online tomorrow morning about 7 am pst. Once the General posts the Plundarrrrrr draft order you can start selecting your choices in the order of the draft.
You don't need to wait for me to determine if it's a sucessful plundarrrrrr or not because once a team is attacked, sucessful or not they become locked from further attacks.

This week. The PlundARRRRRR will conclude at 10 PM Saturday night. I will switch players out before Sunday morning.
