Puddy gives Marques Colston
&
Grunge gives Chris Johnson, 2009 1st round rookie pick, and 2009 3rd round rookie pick

Puddy now owns just about the entire draft board next year! unsure.gif

Time to turn this 2-4 record around! helmet.gif
Puddy
One must give in order to receive. I've traded away two of my top three players this week. But I have gotten a potentially good running game and some high picks in return.

Watch out for me in 2011!! unsure.gif

You now have for 2009:

2 1st Ronders
3 2nd rounders
2 3rd rounders

That's...not too bad. The draft now runs through Puddy.

Bier Meister
supercuts should have gotten 1 2nd rounder and either a 3rd or 4th as well
Puddy
You know I was wondering about that. This being my first and only dynasty, I'm still learning about the value of rookie picks. I have a hard time with that, so I wouldn't have been surprised if someone said Grunge got the better of the deal. shrug.gif

It sure the heck looks like you took me to the woodshed today. kicksrock4.gif

C'mon, not even one catch for Colston? rolleyes.gif

Yeah, what the hell was that. I played him in another league and Roy E. Williams in even another. Zero catches for each of them. whacko2.gif

I did specify the picks were conditional, right? bag.gif

I traded Colston away for Dallas Clark. unsure.gif

Colston ain't even in the top 50. CJ the second best ranked fantasy player in the league. To get CJ AND draft picks, all one had to give was Colston? That doesn't seem to make sense...so one sided and not even close.

Uh...Goop. You do realize this trade was last year when CJ was still a rookie and sharing the load with Lenwhale. He had great promise but I doubt anyone would have traded Colston straight up for him at that time. Sure, Grunge gave me too much (most of the posters here felt that at the time) but hindsight is 20/20. I had no idea Chris Johnson would be as good as he has been this quickly. Tennessee is actually the only team I can think of who has kicked this newfangled RBBC the NFL loves to the curb. Who'd a thunk it?

You just wait until Tenn realizes that they're leaving lightning in a bottle by the name of Javon Ringer wither on the bench. Wither! unsure.gif

doh.gif My bad. I don't even remember this trade. That's why I reacted the way I did, thinking it was now.

I seem to remember you getting a first-rounder for Deion Branch at some point in the past...
