Wow that's a weird rule Trades are hard enough to negotiate as it is and they have to be done 48 hours prior to the 1st game. So is the trade still locked in What if one or the other gets hurt???

I believe it is locked in. If one of the players gets hurt, we'll discuss it at that point. As far as I know, the trade will be processed once the game ends on Monday.

Trade is locked in. The deadline is in the rule book and follows sit with HFA. One of the reasons is if there was a late trade that does not get processed because no commishes are around no one can complain about being prejudiced against.
