This league seems to have owners that are not very interested in posting in the league forum. Is this the IDGAS league?

As an original member, I find the activity level disappointing. But.... in general, most of my leagues are ridiculously quiet this year too. Is everyone in some sort of mass depression? This league was more fun a few years ago, even thogh I was losing... I'm winning this year, and it isn't as much fun as it was a couple years ago.

I've done my best to generate some activity, but it's like pulling teeth!

I agree, way down from what it was in the beginning, Our co-commish disappeared, most of the rest on vacation.

Nah...I haven't disappeared. I admit it....I'm not as involved in this league as I was a couple of years ago. Back when Rov's was going through some tough times and thinking about quitting our league, I just decided to lay off a bit on the trash talking and take a back seat for a while. Maybe it's time for "The Dirty" to show his face again!

My opinion is there hasn't been enough controversy in this league lately. It's a well oiled machine and nobody is starting a ruckus. The most activity this league has seen this year was when Trots tried to find a loophole to keep Tom Brady.

I'm in danger of missing the playoffs for the first time ever in this league, RC could have the worst team ever assembled, and it has started snowing in hell as Rovers is actually a contender this year! I think we are just in Bizarro AGS World this year!!!

My poor start has dampened my enthusiasm so far. I will never abandon ship however, and will continue to be active in fielding the best team I can. I don't have experience with other BOTH leagues, but I figure talking trash is more fun when you actually know the people you're talking it to.

I'm as old as the hills, and less likely to disappear. While I voted "just another league", it's my only BOTH league, and as a founding owner, it is more than "just another league" to me.

For those of you who are less active because you have a bad team this year.... I have had several bad years in a row, but still yapped a lot. I liked the comraderie of this league, and I see that diminishing. Win or lose, this league can be more fun than it is with a bit more effort. When we started, this was a very active forum.

Dirty... I miss all that trash talk! You were a major source of juice back in the day.

I think this league could return to it's glory days with minimal effort. As for the person that said they could care less.... I'm sure we could find a replacement. I mean, if you don't care, why play? I'm not calling you out, just asking.

This was my 1st BOTH league and I voted it most important. Compared to my other leagues with the Huddle it has much more chat, trash talking etc.

Voted most important as well, hell we started this league, keep it going. Rov's been on the short end of alot of ribbing last couple years. I only contributed a little to that, well, some, ok, alot. Any which way, besides a whole whopping 30 bucks we do this cause we enjoy it. I assume Rc isn't doing much to being 0-7, but it shouldn't change who you are. This is my worst year of work, amount of, amount doing the work for, cost to keep a business going,,,,,,,,, enough to make you want to give up. This is my outlet, a lil passion of mine, to win, compete, try some manuerving, and a little respectful trash talk. Win or lose, I already spent the 30, miight as well make the most of it.

I couldn't imagine a league alot less talkative than ours, think I'd find a new one myself. Glad to see some responded.

Trots has the right avatar... a poopy. The Dirty is... well, a self named duck. They poop a lot too. Cheif remains a Lions fan... a combo of masochism, misplaced loyalty and lamb to the slaughter fanism.

Rc .... well being so awful is new to him. By next year, he'll be a better loser.

While we're all confessing, I voted "Just another league". I am in four leagues. Two of which have been in existence for 14 and 10 years respectively. Those are the most important leagues to me because they are with my personal friends I have known for a long time. Bragging rights in those leagues are more important than any money won. I also joined a bar league this year just for fun. The money is more important to me in that league. But our league is very important to me. It is my only BOTH league. I have been a Huddle member since before it was a pay site. This is where I come for my info. These are the boards I come to because of the great people. This is the league I think is the most challenging. I don't know any of you on a personal level, but I know winning this BOTH league would be very gratifying to me because I know you all probably love Fantasy Football as much as I do and everyone in this league remains actively involved throughout the year....win or lose. I can't make that claim for my other leagues.

Maybe our league message board has been stagnant lately, but we have a great bunch of guys here. That is what makes this league special, not the trash talking. Although, our senior member probably can't help himself because senility has set in. Maybe if some of you brought something worthwhile to the table instead of just bitching the whole time that the boards are slow, you might get the reaction you are looking for!

My answer meant that I don't post, and that I could really care less about the trash-talking. Is this league important to me? Yes. Does it bother me that people aren't talking it up in this forum? No.

I am in 2 other BOTH leagues and this is by far the most talkative. For the people that want to talk it up, I say keep it up, but don't call out the people that don't. I do check in here regularly to see if anything important has been said, but it doesn't bother me if there aren't any new posts.

I figured my answer would be taken the wrong way. I do like playing in this league. I'm just not a trash-talker.

I am an active owner in this league. I field a competitive (and somewhat lucky) team each week,set lineups, pick up players when necessary and am active in the weekly picks. But if it's felt that I need replaced because of my answer to some poll on this forum, then so be it.

No one's asking for anyone to leave or be replaced, just trying to get a reaction, which did happen. Far as not knowing the people well, all ya can do is try to get to know em.

As I mentioned... it isn't just this league, things have been quiet in my other league forums too. I do like the friendly barbs and exchanges...makes it more fun for me, but That's just me. This league more than my others has a history of being... the friendliest. I guess I wanted to stir the pot a bit, and it seemed to have worked!

Not a problem. No offence taken. Maybe I didn't understand the question clearly. I just meant I don't post much and don't really care about how quiet the league has been. I do care about this league and enjoy playing in it. We have a good bunch of guys and hope it stays that way.

I voted just another league. I'm either 9 or 10 leagues and all but 2 of them are BOTH leagues. My biggest deal is I've been extremely busy this football season. I've actually watched less football this year than I have in any year in the last 5 years. With as lucky as I've been this year you can bet I would be talking chit if I could just find the time. Hell, I didn't even see this thread until today.

Just another league for me but it is important to me (as are all my leagues) since it is my only B.O.T.H. league. 2 of my 4 leagues are longtime leagues 10+ years with good friends and higher payouts - so obviously those are the most important to me. BUT I do care about this league, I just haven't been involved in much discussion this year (my first child born in July, my board time in general has been down).
