Okay guys enough is enough I haven't changed the password for the commish setting because all of us are veteran FFB players and know the full extent a commish has privy to by logging on as such-- therefore if it happens again without explanation of why the password will be immediately changed

I have no idea what the Commish has access to that is proprietary to each owner, but if you feel something even smells of being comprimised, change the password NOW!

What is the problem here ?

I have logged in as commish each and every week to update the home page messages. That is the only thing I have altered when doing so. If something else is foul please let all of us know. If it is just the simple fact that the commish page is being accessed, I don't understand the problem.

We have commish lockout enabled, which is MFL's prevention so no commish can access team info, set lineups , transaction, view pending trades or any other owner feature. The commish access is really good for nothing under this lockout enabled, but I do need it to continue an update each week.

I do this for over 20 Leagues around here, with no issue whatsoever. If you feel my access is for ulterior motive, which is impossible under the lockout status, please say so.

For more information on what the commish lock out does or does not do, please stay tuned to this thread. I have posted it on the MFL support site here

Here is the MFL support ticket on a lockout

QUOTE
Commissioner Lockout - Select "Yes" to prevent commissioners from viewing pending owner-initiated transactions such as trade proposals, waiver requests, and blind bids and from using any For Owners screen (including the ability to change passwords and email addresses). Commissioners that manually process waivers will still be able to do so once the waiver window has closed. The League Bylaws report (the Abilities Setup table) will always include a note when this option has been set

NOTE: To ensure the security of this option, every change to this setting will automatically send out an email to the entire list of franchises.

http://football34.myfantasyleague.com/2008...=45040&O=26 Here is our bylaws page, which will show the status of your commish. Check under the Abilities Setup

Our league is currently set to YES , and therefore anyone with commish access has no more power then any owner, aside of being able to access HPM setup and the commish page.

Thanks TOS...I am relatively new to MFL, and the Commish lockout is an excellent tool. Thanks for the insight.

NP. Just didn't want anyone less familiar with MFL to have a thought of something foul going on. If it is okay with you, I'll go ahead and make my weekly update today. I've already done so in all the other leagues I've customized. Used to do it on Wednesday's, but the earlier the better. I'm so sick of FF already...........get the year over with doh.gif

Just out of curiosity, what do you update each week? does the site need to be maintained on a weekly basis? Not sure I notice any real changes each and every week (though all I really do is surf a couple key pages (home page, line-up submit, etc.)

The NFL Schedule Module found under the Calender tab , I also relink the widgets on the News tab

It's really not a big deal to do without, as no one probably notices except for me , but I'm anal like that. biggrin.gif

Only takes about 20 minutes each week for all my 20+ sites I've helped upgrade.............The new start of each season is a bit different and will take about an hour+ for each site, which sucks the more and more I keep doing.
