So, that last Arizona interception put me in front of the Jihad by 0.05 points. No problem, Arizona will run out the clock, thought I. Oh no - they punt it back to SF with time left on the clock.

Gore (of the Jihad) gets the ball at the 2, runs left and the slightest contact from an AZ defender knocks him off balance and he falls - no gain!!! Then on the last play of the game, Robinson runs it. All Gore needed was one yard to send me to another defeat.

A win for the Grizzlies by the insanely tiny margin of 0.05 points and the playoffs are still a reality!



Edit: Turns out Gore lost a yard on that final run so the margin is 0.15.......still way too narrow for comfort.

Nice work. A ton of close games this year. I've been on the losing side of a few of them.

I managed to beat the Stogies by less than a point this week. I can just imagine Terry preparing the charts and graphs as we speak for our next get together.
