Both teams 3-7. The "Last Place Bowl." I look at Love's lineup and am afraid for this week. His WRs look primed to eat up their secondaries. Pennington is disturbingly consistent. Norwood is supposedly coming on, and Hightower is. Jeff King, not so much but PK and D are fine. Me: Delhomme is maddeningly inconsistent. Gore has been fine, but LT is having an average year and has a fearsome matchup. My WRs are meh: Wayne is down and although Walter is fun to watch he can't make up for it (yet). Ocho Stinko isn't a 2008 option and Bryant could very well pull a no show. Prediction: Love does it, and I get the inside track to having the first pick AND winning 50 bones for being the highest scoring Bears homer. Which only pisses me off all the more. God I love this game.
Great Grabowskis(5-5) @ Lambeau(8-2) What is it about this league that has teams satart off white hot, then slowly fall apart near the late season? Sorry BJ but yes I'm referring to you. Given that TJ has staked Goop to a solid lead in his backfield the easy call is he gets you, which is what I'll go with here. Right now though, you have to hope that Romo comes back as his old self to help you down the stretch. Your backfield has seen such attrition this year and being reduced to Marshawn Lynch in a Run n Shoot has to hurt because he SUCKS this year. I say that with authority because I have him in my local. You're still waiting for that 100 yard game. Get outta here. Goop, meanwhile gets better like a fine wine and might have scored the waiver pickup of the league thus far in Vernon Davis. I saw it, and it slipped my mind. Darn.
A Rodg Says F You (5-5) @ Rollerdome Dreams(5-5) Slow and steady vs flash n dash. Double TE vs Run n Shoot. I'd really be interested in what the all time record is in this type of matchup. I think this is a toss up but because I have to pick I go with ARdog. I don't like Rivers' matchup vs the Steelers, and I think Jacobs and MJD will not be denied. I do however, think the Billy Miller play on the part of savage could help him out. In the end though, it won't be enough for ARdog. Hey - he has a new logo!
Hammer (5-4-1) @ 1957 and Waiting (6-4) So Randy Moss avoided the night being atotal scratch for grunge at the last second. That does become rather significant because although he has a nice top of the lineup now in Brees-Johnson-Turner, Puddy's plan to slide in the rankings and get mo better draft picks reveals itself in the start of Bobby Who? being thrown to by Hassellwho?
Ditka's Demons (5-5) @ Color Purple (6-4) Isn't Robn happy Cassell didn't get started. Isn't Robn pissed at the egg the Pats laid already. Looking at both of these lineups it's really tough to pick, because there's a lot of inconsistency here. I guess I have to go with gaddis because Cotchery really puts the pressure on and either Braylon or Winslow always seem to pop. Osrry Robn...
Hurricane Lombardi (4-5-1) @ WFIFC (4-6) Chavez is trying to avoid that dreaded 6 in the loss column and has dusted off...Larry Johnson.
So ther you go with Week 11. The key game for the league appears to be Ditka's Demons vs The Color Purple. If Gaddis wins, that really helps him in the wild card and makes it his to lose. If Robn wins, that evens the playing field even more and the rules will be tested fo sho...
