Just wanted to let you all know as soon as possible that I will not be returning next year. Just way too many leagues this year and has become really hard to manage and fit in all of them. I have enjoyed this league, but it seems the participation has sort of slacked off a little this year more than usual. Thanks for having me and good luck to you all.

There is no doubt that the league is well run and I would recommend it to most anyone who wanted to give it a try.

I really hate to do this, but, I'm dropping out as well. I feel like I put so much time into being the commish of my two local leagues, as well as running those two teams, that I am not as committed as I need to be in my BOTH leagues. I think it would only be fair to allow a more committed owner to take my spot.

I will probably have to be on this list of not returning next year as well. I wasn't going to be in the Ladder this year and really am in way over my head with all the leagues and responsibilities I have to manage everything the way I'd like to.

I'm climbing the ladder not by fantasy skill, but by attrition.

No, but perhaps if it's under $1000 it appears free by contrast.

As a bottom-4 Pee Wee team, I will accept my banishment.

With people not returning next year, I don't see anyone being banished, in fact, I can see most of the Pee Wee league moving up out of need.

I finished in the middle of the Pee Wee league, so I'd prefer to remain in Pee Wee until I earn my way up.

I believe I am out anyways, but just wanted to verify that I also will not be able to return. I will not be able to give this league the full attention it deserves. Thanks for having me and good luck

We "only" losing 8-10 owners and I think there's that many on the wait list and it'll be easy to fill the remaining few spots next preseason.

I am on the fence with this league as well. Not ready to bail yet but I, like Favre, am going to wait and see how I feel. Seriously, I need to drop at least one league and this one is a candidate. I started at the bottom and have advanced both years but I am not sure if that pride climb is as important to me as it was in the beginning. I have plenty of BOTH leagues to test my inabilities. Sorry to ramble on but I wanted to get it out there.

I found myself stretched out too thin last year and need to reduce the number of leagues I am in. I saw that this one was not given the attention it needed so unfortunitely I wil need to drop out of this one. Sorry.

Are you on the junk again Lord Opium? We need to get some vets in here for next year. Times are hard and this league is cheap. We should entertain suggestions (IMO) and see what needs to be changed. This league should be the core of the huddle, and I’d propose we send out invites based on huddle member # first. They may have suggestions we may all deem helpful in defining the league to prove your skill in FF… before the WCOFF draft. If you’re like me and don’t have a WCOFF team, then this is as close as you’ll probably get. I expect to get demoted per the rules, and I like the banishing rule. If you don’t have to pay the piper for losing, then there’s no point in having rules. I’ll accept my demotion back to the Practice Squad. I’d dig it if there were a bunch of senior members in there too next year.

Is it possible that we need a bigger pay in/pay out? Maybe pride doesn't cut the mustard.

I could be wrong but the more I read "I'm just not putting the necessary time into this league..." the more I interpret it as "I have bigger money leagues to worry about".

I have too many dynasty leagues but I like to do at least 1 redraft. I'd rather have that one have a higher entry fee than this one. But that's just me. Lot of pressure to stay in the HoF but not much $$ incentive

im in for whatever monetary change is suggested, but come on guys, tell me that playing for pride against the best of the best doesnt do it for you. we all love the money winnings, but tell me the bragging rights and congrats recieved when you do win isnt just as valuable. of my 8-10 leagues last yr, this was the cheapest, but somewhere inside me, it was the one i wanted the most.......

I more than likely won't get the chance. I really want to bow out of the Ladder but we'll see what kind of showing we'll have when things start up. I don't want to leave the Ladder stranded for guys.

This isn't a bad thing to kick around. One of the advantages this league has over others is the number of owners we have. Having 60 instead of 12 could give you a much better payout structure if wanted. Do we want a bigger payout at the top? Or do we want a good number of owners receiving payouts? This league has guns for either direction.

I agree with this. There's no reason for this not to be THE league to be in at the Huddle.

This league for me has nothing to do with payout....it is simply to beat up on the guys who are the guys you would want to beat up on. Did Maverick go to Top Gun for the money...or the pride of being the best of the best.....the TROPHY!!!! Don't change a thing...find some guys with some sack that will stick and play this thing the way it should be played.
