This week #12 matchup between (current) division leaders has not turned out to be quite the shootout that may have been expected ... 65-56 in favor of the "New Kids" as of the end of the Sunday day games. Random thoughts:

- MJD does not score, has FOUR yards rushing for the day, but still puts up 11.7 points for you - what gives there?
- Gore is a total no-show for me, ~3 points? Not sure he even touched the ball more than 2 time in the 2nd half - yuk.
- DW is still money ... best (lucky) draft pick I made this season, 20 FF points today on an "off" day.
- As much as I like Larry Fitz, I am really tired of Boldin getting all the TDs ... oh well.
- Not much to complain about with Welker, but I wish this was a PPR league ... and how long can the end zone continue to be his kryptonite, you'd think he would have more than 1 TD on his 80 catches just by accident.
- Darn that Bowe, he got shut down all day, then comes up with a garnbage time score for you to save his fantasy value.
- Already regretting starting AGonzo over Bradley, here's hoping it does not bite me too bad.
- I think I dodged a bit of a bullet with Slaton, he easily could had a bigger day that the ~7.3 points he put up for you.
- Looks like I need the 425 / 4 / 0 Brees to show up this week to have a chance ... as long as Driver does little or nothing for you, I'm still in this one.

Anyway, a good close game ... hopefully the fantasy TV audience won't be too unhappy about the low scoring in our game so far, but I'm thinking that Brees will fix that for those virtual fans ... best of luck the rest of the way.

Yep, great close game. I didn't really have a very good week this week, but at least Ididn't leave a lot of points on the bench. Nothing worse than kicking yourself for not starting the right guys. I am hoping Double D has a career night tomorrow and Brees accidentally locks himself in the locker room. I am going against him in my local as well so I need him to fall flat. It probably won't be close in the end, but as of right now it is still up in the air. Best of luck.
