First & foremost, congratulations to everyone on a great season. Everyone did very well this year & I'm amazed by the level of parity this league has gained. All but 2 teams broke the 2000 point mark & NSab came pretty close as well. Balla... well... um... No worries brother, you'll rebound next season.

As for what this league is really all about you all deserve a HUGE. We did some really good things this year and made life a little easier for a few who really needed some comfort. You all very much deserve a round of applause.

Now a little clarification on seeding.
In the rules it states that the two division winners will always be the top 2 seeds. Since we have 4 divisions that is impossible :mrobvious:. What this rule should actually state is that the top 2 conference winners will always be the top 2 seeds. Everyone else is sorted by the OWP, H2H, etc.

Rajn, I had a 12-6 record and TOS had a 10-8 record so shouldn't I be the #2 seed?

The rule as it is states:

I corrected it to read "the two conference winners will always be the top 2 seeds" which would make TOS the #2 & you the #3 as you were 2nd in your conference. I may be setting this up wrong, but the rule as it reads can not be correct since we have 4 divisions not 2. It should either read as I corrected or "the top two division winners will always be the top 2 seeds. I am blocked from viewing the previous seasons at work without the IP addresses, so give me the day & I'll try to make sure I am doing this correctly.

No problem at all. When inputting it I realized the problem with the rule as it was written & questioned it myself. Unfortunately I had to make a decision without having everything available to me knowing I might have to go back & correct it if I was wrong. I was going to check myself anyway when I got home tonight so this saves me the trouble.

I think some of the confusion is that conferences were assumed......lol. We never named them.

I nominate the following names.......lol. (Supporting the theme of our division names)

The Fried Conference and the BBQ'd Conference

I still screwed it up. It should be Darin vs T_Bone playing each other in the top bracket & Caveman Nick vs Hitman in the other due to being in the same conference. All should be right with the world now. :sigh: Thanks Big John for pointing it out.

So shouldn't Darin and T-Bone be playing one match, and Hitman and Nick the other?
That way you don't even need to seed #1 thru #6......just #1 thru #3 in each conference?



Honestly...since we have DHs so that we play everyone once and our divisionmates twice, maybe we shouldn't have conferences at all. Put the emphasis on winning the division and the wildcards could be any two teams that win the tiebreakers after division winners are determined.....ie. OWP, H2H, total points.

Something to discuss offseason maybe......didn't mean to make it harder now. I'll shut up.
