I was curious if you could run the outcome of the matchups this weekend that may impact the 4 team playoff that starts in Week #15? Are there any key games this weekend. I know I am going against Shamaz so this will likely impact the playoff picture.

Just wanted to see who is still fighting for a slot and what matchups will be there for Week 15.

I can't believe with a win this week we could tie or only be a game out of 4th place. Damn Cassel for taking a week too long to get going.

You know Dave, it's really funny that you brought this up today as after I got my weekly email updating me of the results for this past weekend's games, it was then that I realized that I had won my week 13 matchup and was still in the playoff picture or so I believe. I will be reviewing the situations tonight and updating things later...

Just doing this very quickly (so I could be wrong), there are 3 teams definitely in the playoffs- Thor's Hammer, Aquaman and Men of Steel. That includes the winners of both divisions (as of right now) in bold and the next best record. Aqua will be a top seed, as even if he loses he just can't be passed on points for the first tie-breaker by Hulk's Heroes (60 points behind). However, if Thor loses, and Men of Steel wins, Men of Steel would take a top seed as he has more points and Thor would likely be the 3rd seed.

As for the 4th spot, there are 3 teams with a realistic chance to make the playoffs. They are- the 4th seed as of now- Hulk's Heroes, The Martian Manhunters 5th position and Shazamz- 6th position. Shazamz is the longest shot as he has the lowest point total of the 3, needs to beat Aqua and needs both the Manhunters and Hulk to lose. The Manhunters (me) need to win and need for Hulk to lose as with a tied record Hulk has about 60 more points than me. Now for the easiest one, Hulk gets in as long as he wins.

So the key matchups in regard to seeding and who makes the playoffs are practically every game this week:

Lobo's Liquidators at The Martian Manhunters (-6.3)
Men of Steel (-13.4) at Silver Surfers
Thor's Hammer (-4.6) at In Praise of Mr. Terrific
Shazamz at Aquaman (-20.7)
Hulk's Heroes (-4.7) at Dark Knights

Regardless if I got it right or not, after the week 14 games, things will be sorted out for me/us. Good Luck to all!! (except for Hulk and Lobo's of course).

Of all my leagues, this has been THE most frustratingly annoying league for me this year, at least in terms of FF injuries and results on a week-to-week basis. And I'm gonna take it out on all of you by going out with a BANG this weekend.

Are you going to pull a Tonya Harding on my FF squad this weekend??

Well, that would be about the only way he could go out with a BANG this season.

By the way, as for my boring prediction, I think that even if I could pull out a win over the Lobos, I think that Hulk wins his matchup and keeps the 4th playoff spot.

Well, I came close to pulling it out versus the Lobo's but it wouldn't have mattered any way as it looks like Hulk's Heroes will just take care of business tomorrow night. That makes me feel somewhat better, as if I would've won and Hulk won it would've sucked worse.
