uh, that was close ...

i don't know if you watched the game last night, but baltimore was just feeding mcclain down the stretch as they were looking to eat the clock. i had a 50-60 yard cushion or which was reduced to a 6 yard cushion when the drive ended (after more than 10 straight mcclain carries it seemed). excrutiating to watch.

then, with me clinging to a measley 0.6 point lead, baltimore gets the ball back with 1:55 left and, you guessed it, they feed the ball to mcclain THREE MORE TIMES! this when they could have taken a knee. he only churns out 2 yards from the 3 carries to leave me with a 0.4 point margin.

i'm holding my breath that no scoring decisions are changed ....

anyway, nice match. i thought i was toast going into the afternoon games. i never would have thought that larry johnson would have only posted 36 yards against that denver D.

I saw the game. I thought i might have a chance when Mcgahee and rice got hurt. Then they kept feeding mclain the ball. I was pissed when they threw that long touchdown pass. I was hoping they coud tackle him close to the gaol line. After that I was hoping that skins would turn the ball over. So that the ravens would have to run the ball to close game out. But mclain got only 3 yards on that last series I really thought he was going to win it for me then.
It didn't help to much that Hillis got hurt, LJ didn't get the ball and Gates great performance. Congratulations and good luck at least it was an exciting game for us. I hope you win the championship so i can at least say i lost to the champs by four yards.
