Not exactly a Newbie, but pretty close, Atomic CEO takes down kupcho1, an original member and past champion, in the final week of HEFFA NINE.

Atomic becomes the first Champion to win with ZERO PK points, perhaps starting a new trend next year, as we are all followers. Meanwhile kupcho was the overall high point team for the season, and wins the single weekly High Score with a 135. Kup had somewhat unheralded Michael Turner and D'Angelo Williams lead his team.

Oh and IF frogs had wings they wouldn't bump their ass on the ground; IF my aunt had balls she'd be my uncle; and IF Grits had done better last week, well . . . he'd still be a frog with no balls.

Thanks everybody for a great 9th year. Hope you'll all make it back for our 10th anniversary. Should be a real thriller!

I made out well this year as I had Turner, Rodgers and (to a lesser extent) Jacobs or D Williams on all of my teams this year. 2nd here, 2nd in another league an d1st in my "big money", long time league.

And in an effort to make it even on the kicker front, I took Dawson, which was just about the same as having no kicker. The bastage. Serves me right for taking a Brown.

There are no if's about it... you had the better team this year. Week 17 is a cruel bitch with all the players resting or playing a half a game.

Next year, we should kick out Grits so that we can end the season in week 16.
