The consensus seems to be 12 teams is better than 16, so, should we make the dues $75, or keep it at the originally proposed $50?

As of now, we have 11 owners who have comitted or expressed their intent to be in the league. Many topics will be up for discussion here, including MFL's "league safe" feature, where they hold all the prize money and pay out to winners from an FDIC insured account. I like the idea, one less thing as commish to worry about. The only drawback is they don't take personal checks, so if that is a problem for anyone, now is the time to speak up, although we have plenty of time to make this and any other decisions we need to agree upon.

I've been looking for an IDP redraft for a while. I prefer $50 to $75, and I can do PayPal if necessary.

OK, right now we have the full 12 who expressed interest, and they get first dibs on teams. We will now start a waiting list, and it's most likely that one or two from the waiting list will get into the league as some may decide to drop. That's just the way it goes, as we all know. Not all members have checked in here yet, but from PM's etc, we have 12 now.

If we get enough interested people - also some people who signed on early might drop out prior to the launching of the new league so it still may be 12 teams (with some openings)

Rumblefish said he had to change his mind, but I have 2, perhaps 3 more people I know locally that want to be in the league. It looks good for 12 teams... with a chance to go to 16, but several people said they preferred 12.

I've been ridiculously busy lately... my biz mostly, audits and taxes, end of year reports, new contracts, etc... but I'll have more free time shortly.

14 teams is my favorite number for a league.

I am going to have to decline...the ness that is GMX was to powerful to resist and 6 leagues is where i draw the line

Just found out I'll be away from home from July to January, so I'm going to have to decline participation in this league.

I really wanted an IDP redraft, too...but I just can't take on any more leagues without knowing how much time I'll be able to commit.
