Sorry for my absence.
December is my busy month, so I was up to my ears in billables, plus all the usual holiday BS. So it was only natural that the Mrs. decided that late December would be a good time for me to start a remodel project in our front entry way, which is pretty much all I work on from when I get home at 9pm until 1am or so on weekdays, then all of my weekends.
Last week I finished the redo, then the Mrs. and I geared up for our big 10-year anniversary get away. With all that's been going football, including league business, got blown off. I just got back from vacation and wanted to check in, especially with the prize winners.
With for members leaving, we need to have a serious discussion about whether to continue the league. I have to admit my interest in fantasy football was waned the last two years; my focus on career and family have really preocuppied my time. I think an active commish that can spend a little time fostering inter-league banter is good; its something I did a lot more of in our league's early years. I'm still interested in keeping the league together but I'm certain that part of the reason for the mass exodus this year is that the league wasn't as interactive as years past. Long story short, if there is someone that is willing to do a better job than me an adding some routine personality to the league I'd be willing to pass the torch to a new commish. I'd love to still participate but I've been lax in my oversight of ministerial duties, and I know it.
Any thoughts?
