Both panhead and Wolverines Fan have been PM'd invites. The spot is panhead's if he wants it, if not Wolverines gets it. J2V would be next on the list.

I have been very busy at work and can't make any decisions about FF right now. People have been laid off in my group last week, so I may need to take a FF vacation depending on the job situation. I should be OK, but when layoffs hit home in your group I need to watch my money right now.

Sorry, I don't mean to be non-committal but things are up in the air for me at work so I should know better in July.

Hey Dave, Sorry to hear about the job issues. I hope everything works out for the best for you and your family in regard to your job situation. Obviously we hope that your situation allows you to continue to be a part of this league but if not, I understand. Take all the time you need to make your decisions. Good Luck with things.

I must take a pass this year. It has been a lot of fun the last two years, but too many expenses with my house and my cars have put a serious dent in my monthly budget and it seems irresponsible to spend more money on FF at this point. Looks like I am going to take the whole FF season off and give my FF budget towards paying off stuff I had to replace in my house. When you get no raise (I am just happy to still be employed at BAC) and you replace a roof (mainly from insurance money), a water heater, a new range / oven, A/C repairs, etc. I need to do whatever I can to save money this year. I have been playing FF for at least 11 years and I will miss it, but perhaps a one year break from it will get me excited again for another season as I have lost some of the joy of playing FF over this past offseason.

I will still hang around The Huddle and may ask to re-join the league if the money issue improves next year, but wanted to give Irish the go ahead to replace Aquaman with a new owner.

I will stop by when I get a chance every so often to see how things are going. Good luck to everyone this year!

You're actually the first person that comes to mind when I think of having to replace an owner or fill a vacany because of your expressed interest of wanting to be a part. I'm sure that you'd make a terrific addition to the league however, I need to work my way through the waiting list, which you are a part of. No worries, if we get that far, I feel safe knowing that you'd step up.

Thanks for the good wishes. I had been thinking about this for awhile and was thinking that things may get a little better and I would get more excited about FF as it got closer, but neither of those things happened as it seemed like I had at least one big ticket item (house or car) that was another expense to add to my budget.

I will really miss the league, but I told Irish, I may send him a PM if the budget gets better and my one year break from FF gets me excited again for next year.

Electricrelish is actually a Charlotte guy, just like me, so I think he would be great to take my place, but looks like Irish has Woverine Fan (enemy of the Nittany Lions) on deck for my spot.

Anyway, I will stop by once and awhile just to see how things are going. It has been a terrific league with great competition and know it will continue to be that way due to the great owners that Irish was able to get when he started it a couple years ago.

Wolverines Fan has stepped up and accepted the invitation. He will be replacing PSU and taking over the Aquamen.
