We have a few things to vote on, but first please take a gander at our new website. MFL has tweaked a few things this year, the main one of which is: you need to tweak your password to include both a number and letter. It affected noth me and the commish password so I'm sure there are more to come. Also, please check out your rosters, as I made the migration and moves so your roster on this year's site is as it ended last seasons. The 2008 website is now locked for posterity.
And that brings us to the "final overhaul" towards our locked, Dynastic rosters.
OK - so the final paragraph that shapes this off-season is found in section 10.2.3 here, and is broken down into the following:
I've numbered what are essentially our steps towards getting everything ready. Some things we'll need to vote on and I'll set those threads up once everyone has poked their head in here.
QUOTE
10.2.3 2008 to 2009:
.1 - Draft orders will be based on 2008 results.
.2 - One week prior to the 2009 rookie draft, taxi squads are locked and cuts and/or promotions will need to be made if any franchise wants to make more room on their taxi squad.
.3 - These can be made at any point during the off-season.
.4 - Prior to the 2009 Veteran Draft, all Norris franchise rosters must be cut to meet a total of 15 active players on the franchise's roster. No more, no less.
.5 - Rosters will then be expanded to 20 or 22(yet tbd), and the Final Veteran Draft will begin.
.6 - At the end of this draft, all teams must meet the new expanded roster size before kickoff of the first game of the 2009 season. Either through waiver moves, trades, or taxi squad promotions.

.7 - Eliminate 3rd place bump in draft/waiver slots. (not for this year)
.8 - Do we want another Scrub Draft?
.9 - Cap team D/STs at 3 per roster.
A few other things that we need to do: unless there's a general outcry, I'd like everyone who has players allocated to the IR clear those spots and come in at 18 Active Roster spots in 2 weeks - by Midnight March 10th. I know this might sound arbitrary, but MFL has already cleared these guys and we did leave the off season IR-issue as unresolved. I'd like to give everyone a fair amount of time to look at any roster issue, but also get everyone back onto a fair playing field before going TOO far into the Free Agency period. There are a few teams that collected quite the stock of IR'ed players. Big John has 5(!) through no fault of his own. Clearing that logjam will be key o getting our whole off-season rolling.
Any other rules people would like to put to a vote?
