Very interesting as there were no Costco's or Walgreens back then. Color developing ain't easy.

I took this picture over 30 years ago and got an honorable mention in a Chi Trib contest. Several hours and one roll of film later I got The Robins

By the way (Keg?) is there a better way of displaying so that the pic is 100% viewable? Just getting started w/ filckr. Looks decent.
Also, where can you get a definition of all those licensing choices?

I am not sure what you mean by displaying it at 100% viewable....the picture you are showing should be exactly what you uploaded...if you mean that the original image size is bigger then you have to make sure you are uploading it to that size BUT there may be restrictions since you have a FREE account....if you want you can send me a copy of it and I can see if I can upload it to see what you are talking about...as for the licenses I have no clue as I havent read about them but I guess maybe I should think.gif

ok did a quick look at the licenses:

None (All rights reserved)
Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike Creative Commons
Attribution-NonCommercial Creative Commons
Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs Creative Commons
Attribution Creative Commons
Attribution-ShareAlike Creative Commons
Attribution-NoDerivs Creative Commons

I have all rights reserved and that is what I would recommend...that keeps people from using your photos...if you dont care if someone uses your photos then I would google each of the other licenses and see which you can live with.

Thank you. You answered my questions. Didn't realize "All rights reserved" was the default! Cool!
As far as the size, I'll play w/ it awhile. Seems like a solid sight and I'll prolly go to the max version after I figger it out.
BTW...what did you think of my Robins pic? It's the only one I ever posted to a contest and at least got an HM. smile.gif Remember it's from film.
Thanks for the info.

very cool shot...like how they are framed between the branches....and yeah film is a different beast that is for sure...dSLRs might be expensive but I couldnt afford to shoot in film...especially not learning...digital makes it so easy to learn and practice without ruining and wasting money on rolls and rolls of film...it is nothing to go out and snap off 200-500 pics in a day and that just aint happening with film
