For Result #5, I am speaking with grunge right now about a little clarification.

Result #7 - So it seems clear that most everyone wants to expand Taxi Squads to allow for all rookie picks to be added for the summer, and then a final trim to 15 at the point that we lock rosters, AFTER the Vet Draft.

Which of course, leads to a few other questions we need to discuss and vote on: run another seperate Taxi Squad Waiver wire, and when should it open? There's an interesting issue of 'fair' here: Savage will have 19 players on his Taxi Squad after the rookie draft, and chavez will have 14. Should anyone be allowed to pick up Taxi Players to match savage's number? Should we set a number? Etc...

In terms of the number of players that I will have on my Taxi Squad compared to Chavez, I guess I am fine with having the rest of the league pick up Taxi Squad players in order to equal mine if that's what you guys want to do, but keep in mind that some people make trades and other roster moves that might lead them to end up with more or less players on their Taxi Squads (just like some of us might end up with more or less rookie picks due to trades that we have made) so I'm not sure that it makes sense at this point to try to make sure that everyone has an equal number. It's my opinion that each owner should live with the consequences of their various roster moves over the last few years (even if that means the have less Taxi Squad players right now). But again, I won't be upset at all if the rest of you think it makes sense now to even them up.

I think I'm with Savage.

As a tangent, have we addressed the issue of adding vets to our taxi squads? I like the idea of being able to add a player that has not been on a NORRIS roster directly to one's taxi squad with one exception. I think that in-season, a player should have to clear the free agent draft the week he is picked up. This would prevent people from taking the hot new player in the weekly free agent pickup and putting him on their taxi squad. However, if I guy clears the weekly free agent draft and is added via FCFS, I think he should be able to go on the taxi squad, so long as he meets the other requirements.

It isn't my fault I draft rookies who contribute immediately.*
