I'm open to letting it start early with no clock if we get some agreement. Anyone?
I don't have a pick until the third. It doesn't matter to me when we start.

I went ahead and started the draft and sent an email out, not timer until Monday. But as active as this league is I doubt we make it till Monday

Its all about who will be there at 2.1. I dont know if you need a LB, but if you do, the big 3 will be gone by 2.4. But thats cool. Im just as happy taking one or 2 of them.
ETA - If thats even the route I wanna go.

Real question is do you like moving down a couple of spots to pick up a third?

Not sure, but I imagine this stuff should be kept in pm's. I don't like it when people outside of potential trades know what i'm trying to do. Just saying.

Not sure if this was sarcastic but nothing wrong with letting the league know of your intentions if a trade will be made

nah, not really sarcastic. The problem is having the perameters of potential trades discussed openly on the board by one member. No problem with you talking about what you have involved in a one time potential deal, but putting the other guys pieces of a potential deal shouldn't be put on boards... I guess it's just me, do what you'd like, I really don't have a reason to care.

Does eveyone even realize the draft can officially start? I know an email was sent out, but does everyone have their correct email address?
Oh, and will there be a timer? I think that there should be at least a 24 hour timer from the start. At the rate things seem to go sometimes, if not, we might not even get started for another 2 weeks!

The FDSB Dynasty League rookie draft will take place the third week of May each year. The draft will proceed in reverse order based on the previous season's finish (total points as tie-breaker). If an owner withdraws from the league during the draft, the draft will stop until a new owner is found and begin when the new owner is selected without penalizing the new team.

Only rookies will be eligible to be drafted. As defined by the NFL CBA, a Rookie is defined as a person who has never signed a Player Contract with an NFL Club previous to this year. An un-drafted Rookie means a Rookie who was eligible for, but not selected in a College Draft. (College and High School players are not selectable.) If a player signs a contract, gets cut before playing any games, then re-signs with another team, he is now a free agent and loses his rookie status. For the purposes of this league: If a player signs a contract and is cut during the pre-season, then signs with another NFL Team, he will be considered to be a rookie.
7.3 Timing
Timers enforced during the draft will be decided by individual drafts. Each owner is encouraged to use pre-selects and make picks as soon as possible. If an owner is "on the clock" for more than 24 hours during the draft without prior notice, then that owner will be considered for replacement under rule 2.3

I've reset the draft to begin at 12:00 am 12/18. I've also instituted a 24 hour clock for the picks, if the timer expires the pick will be skipped and the draft will continue. If your pick is skipped you can select by posting here. That said, lets not let that happen ok

I guess when I go to the site it has me logged in as commish.
Also - As my place of work keeps outwitting the witters, I won't have access to MFL during the day, so I will need some help as to when it's my pick, who has been picked, etc.. Thanks!

Keep in mind, when drafting, if you draft from the Live Draft Room, emails do not get sent out. If you go to For Owners - Draft and do it from there, emails go out and everyone will get notified.
