Will we be making a decision before Sunday?

FX is out so we need someplace that everyone can get to without too much trouble.

Maybe a Burger King or Taco Bell or something? Maybe a mall?

Or are we going to move it to June?

Ya know...if we held this thing in March there wouldn't be any games in the way. But it would have to be a Saturday since FX is closed on Sunday.

It's been in March before, and in July I think too, this method of scheduling was adopted last year, I can't remember who suggested it.

If we aren't tied to a small geographic location near the stadium, we could go to almost any bar, I'm sure Seattle has plenty.

Is there a reason it is so close to the stadium? If someone is walking, I'm sure someone driving could be swayed to share a ride from the docks or anywhere within walking distance from there to a more economical situation, parking wise.

I know of a sports bar in Bellevue that is sort of a dive bar, (it's the only place I've ever felt truely comfortable up there) but that's all I know about that Seattle area, Tacoma now, there are tons of bars I know there.

If we can't reach a conclusion soon, we will have to postpone. No one wants to pay anywhere near $50 to park, and not many people seem to have any other ideas for this weekend either.

I'd be more than happy to make a few suggestions, but I'm not exactly sure what makes sense for everyone. I thought FX was the major attraction because of its proximity to I-5/I-90 and the ferries, which seems to make the most sense.

FX is the perfect place...or has been for a lot of years. The problem we have come up against this weekend is that the Mariners are in town. Don't think we have come up against that before. For myself and Bob it isn't a problem since we ride the ferry across and then walk down. But for everyone else, they have to drive in and that not going to be cost effective with the price gouging that goes on when there is a game in town.

What we need is a place that will accommodate 7 or 8 of us, has food (decent food), and parking nearby that is not out of sight. Someplace that isn't too far out of the way. (Which is another reason for FX since it is sort of in the middle.)

I'm at a loss to be honest.

I would concur that FX is the perfect place, and that maybe the best solution is to postpone until June 13th.

June 13th is a Sat and I don't think some people can make it on a Sat. Plus FX is closed on Sundays except when there is and event going on.

FX opens at 1030 on Sunday. Any thoughts about being there that early? Parking within walking distance should be fairly easy that far ahead of the game starting.

That works, 10:30 am On Sunday May 17th, at FX. It's finalized.

Please make sure the word is passed on and verified to those who can attend.

The best way to get the word out is probably by phone at this point.

I'll start making phone calls today. Any help I can get would be appreciated, phone numbers should me in MFL.

Yea, way to stiff the new guy out of not being able to draft ADP in the one slot. Not sure if I'm too enamored with the #2 slot this year; but no complaining here, time for some research.
