Since I had a few minutes to spare that day, I pasted my recipe in their online form. Then, I got notified that my recipe got selected as one of the top 70 submissions nationwide. Then I was entered into the official competition. Then, for the first round, my friends and family voted for me enough times that I finished in the top 20. Then the official judges actually made and tasted all the recipes, and I got moved up to 12th.
That's where things are at right now...and they've completely reset everybody's votes back to zero. So, I actually think I have a legitimate shot at winning this thing. What I need at this point are more votes. That's where you fellow Huddlers come in.

You can become an instant member, too, which would allow you to leave a smartass comment right there on the page if you want.
