Is it time to figure out the best draft date for everyone?

Lets get the light blinking a little and start to round up the heard.

Normally we are a Sunday evening in the third week of August which would have us looking at August 23rd. I will toss that right out there right now as it has been that way for years. Lets just start kicking the tires on this traditional date and see where that takes us.

That date is fine with me.

Just kicking the light on one more time. I know that some owners have seen this and since they have no problem they just sit back but now is the time to at least post something so that we know that you have seen it.

I have another draft on the 23rd, but that will be during the day, so if we are doing our usual start time (I think like 8 PM ET?) I should be good for the 23rd...

I'm working on the 23rd but will be able to work something out.

Damn - later than ever this year getting going on FF. I am away this coming Sunday, as I always seem to be for this draft - but since this date seems to work for everyone else, I will get coverage from someone somewhere.

I think MFL has a "draft list" feature, which I would probably try. Might even do better than I usually do!

I am going to open a new post about this but it seems even I now have a problem with the 23rd.

I would make it work if everyone else was set for the 23rd but if we have a few that are not then I am going to pitch another idea.

The season does not start until the 10th of Sept.

Could everyone make another Sunday after the 23rd? I would think that the 30th would be out because of the holiday weekend but what about the 6th?

I believe the 6th is the holiday weekend, Skippy, not the 30th. Labor Day is the 7th.

You are correct. I was looking at it like the 30th was the holiday weekend.
