Doesn't anyone around here want to play Fantasy Football anymore?

So is there any status update to our league or are we just going to let it flounder? I thought there was a waiting list to get into these leagues...what happened to that?

Sorry for the delay, a whole bunch of FF e-mails got spammed. TOS called me for another league yesterday to see if I was alive and wel;l, I'm still kickin'. Hope everyone had a nice offseason. Personally, I am busier than hell and need the distraction of FF this year more than ever.

I am not letting it flounder, but there is a major roadblock in filling this league up: This is supposed to be a group of leagues, with certain rules and parameters that depend on the other leagues. The Generation Lost league has not even had a real roll call yet. I have been working on that to try to get it moving.

I have been reluctant to try and recruit new owners without having the ability to tell them exactly what the format is going to be. With things in flux, it's tough to ask people to commit time and money to participate in something. And with so many of our former league mates dropping us, this has become a daunting task and caused me much stress.

I have now taken it upon myself to take roll call in GL. I hope that things will come together in the next week.

I have a fellow Huddler that said he would be interested in joing Prime Time if there's room.

I will contact you. TheCMB also mentioned he would have some folks.

My main issue is this: If Generation Lost dies, then I would try to give any straggler owners from that league first shot at openings here. That's really what's holding us up at this point. I assume it will not run, and am doing what I can do to prepare for it.

For some reason, people have been particularly unresponsive this year to league posts and emails.

RFFLChump got back to me this AM. We may have more members than spots now, but I am working on the problem. I am also working to get with AlChico on the web site. Things are coming together.

I would expect to see a slow draft start on or around August 18.

I will be poking at people to get payments into Al as soon as I have league membership settled.
