Voting on this has become an Empire tradition every year. And every year blind bidding wins (as it should IMO). My only concern is that enough time is given to allow the players in the western U.S. to get their bids in at the end of the work day/night (i.e. a Wednesday midnight PST/ 3AM EST deadline).
