I was shocked to see Stafford go so early, though I admit I had considered taking him at 1.3. I had, however, changed my pre-draft to the three RBs. I thought about trading #3 to stingers for #5(in order to draft Stafford) and "something" so that she could take Brown. Good thing for her we didn't make that trade.

I can see where he's going though.....he DOES need a QB.
He's got Addai, Benson and McFadden......and in a league where you can only play 2RBs max.....it makes sense.

On another note.....Stingers.....you now have 60 players on your roster including your 1st round pick. This means you can only pick 5 more times in this draft....max. So include an extra pick in your next trade deal......lol.

At least I didn't have to think much this round.

btw, I'm glad this League's Draft seems to be a dysfunctional as my other leagues.

i usually trade all my picks in leagues cause i hate ta study and want proven talent....that said this draft snuck up on me so i looked at other drafts/ looked at my needs/read up some and it looked like this Rams LB is gonna have instant impact even over Curry.....the WR's take to long to develop 1st year....i have no patience.....oh ya i did all that in 15minutes

It's layed back, yes...and lots of stuff going on right now with some of us. But just be patient......maybe if we got back in the habit of PMing the next owner up after we pick.....that might help, since we seem to get hung up for hours at a time.

Oh, I am patient. However, even with the heads-up about the laid-backness of the league, was not prepared for the draft not being an intense time. Was a bit of a surprise compared to other leagues at draft time. When you said "laid-back" you really meant it.

I have been at this a very long time. And I have noticed over those years, that each year real life comes into play more and more. Each year there is less and less time for accessing the internet from work and each year the workday gets longer and longer. And that ain't even counting the family that most often wasn't even there at the beginning. So I have learned to be patient because I know that things take longer to get done than they used to.

When you get out of your teens (LOL) nuke you too will acquire patience. :oldrazz:

As far as the snags in the draft now.....we've gone through one round. I figured everyone was now WELL aware that it was going on and that we had a few time crunches coming up fast. Guess I assumed folks would at least make an effort in the mornings or evenings before or after work.

I totally understand work hours...and long work hours. But geeze.....check in for five or ten minutes when you get home at least.

I'm here to help in any way I can, ya know. If my number isn't in your address book....get it there.

Sorry folks.....I really, really thought it was possible to get at least 4 rounds done in three days. Or at the very least...3 rounds.
