For those of us that are done, it is time to talk trash, or wonder where it all went wrong. I'll start.
1.03 3.Wells, Chris ARI RB (I had considered taking my much needed QB here and even tried to trade back.)
2.03 15. Maclin, Jeremy PHI WR (Again, not what I really had planned, but I need some youth at WR too.)
3.03 27. Freeman, Josh TBB QB (Need QB badly. Hoping Josh is the next Elway)
4.03 39. Delmas, Louis DET CB (I don't have a top ten DB. I think Delmas will be one soon.)
5.03 51. Williams, Jason DAL LB (Time to swing for the fences on LBs)
6.03 63. Barwin, Connor HOU DE (Hoping playing opposite Super Mario will work out)
7.03 75. McRath, Gerald TEN LB (Not on any list I've read, but is college write up looks like hugh potential)
Also, during the draft, traded away Michael Turner for the following.
1.02 (Made by skylive5) Stafford, Matthew, DET QB (May be a year or two out, but I think my QB situation is much improved.)
3.02 26. Britt, Kenny TEN WR (More youth at WR)
4.02 38. Barden, Ramses NYG WR (If he becomes the Plaxico II I think he will be, I've struck gold.)
Overall, I think this was a B+ draft for a team rebuilding. All I missed was a top 5 LB prospect, but the two LBs I took could surprise.
C for me I think.
1.02 Stafford QB - Someone was going to want him for a decent RB. Worked out.
2.02 Orakpo DE - Short on DE's and I am real high on this guy.
3.02 Traded
4.02 Traded
5.02 Butler WR - Seattle is going to need a replacement for Burleson. This is the guy they expect it to be.
6.02 McKenzie LB - Was told that LB's are the thing in this league... so I finally found one.
7.02 Arnoux LB - This guy is going to be a LB force come next year and he won't be avail in the rookie draft then. Do not look at this as a wasted pick at all.
1.02, 3.02, and 4.02 traded for Turner RB. Got me a number one RB just like I wanted. Now if I could only get Portis. LOL

I don't do alot of drafts, mostly like ta trade picks but i enjoyed lookin at other drafts and readin Huddle Stuff......made all my Pre-selects at 1 time and should hold up with one ta go
1.11 11. Nukes Door Mats
Laurinaitis, James STL LB ® - INSTANT IMPACT ALWAYS NEED GOOD LB
2.11 23. Nukes Door Mats
Coffee, Glen SFO RB ® - JUST READ GOOD STUFF AND JUMPED RB RIGHT HERE BEFORE GONE
3.11 35. Nukes Door Mats
English, Larry SDC DE ® - WANTED TA SPREAD OUT WHAT I GOT AT POSITIONS
4.11 47. Nukes Door Mats
Pettigrew, Brandon DET TE ® - THINK THIS CAT IS GONNA GET A TON OF DUMP OFFS
5.11 59. Nukes Door Mats
Brown, Cody ARI DE ® - HAD TA HAVE A CARDINAL
6.11 71. Nukes Door Mats
Coffman, Chase CIN TE ® - THIS WAS FOR JULES SO SHE CAN CRACK ON ME ABOUT TE'S
GRADE - B ....

I always liked what i saw when i got brack to the puter
Executive Stooge: Inherited Dragon's team (the Toilet Bowl winner). While not a disaster, it still needed work in many areas - most notably starting WRs. worked waiver wire, executed a trade, and tried to make some strategic draft picks.
1.01 Moreno, Knowshon DEN RB - It was either make the easy pick here or trade it away. Team needed youth at RB so grabbed it here. No brainer.
2.01 Sanchez, Mark NYJ QB - Once I traded away Flacco & co. for WR help, etc.; was able to replace Flacco w/ Sanchez. I think this will work out great for me.
2.05 Maualuga, Rey CIN LB - Looked at the board at this time and grabbed the BPA - at least impact-wise. With Curry & Laurinatis gone, it was time to pull the trigger.
3.01 Jennings, Rashad JAC RB - With MJD and G.Jones on the roster, grabbed Jennings to cover myself. Can play on NFL level, IMO
4.01 Davis, Nate SFO QB - As DO knows from PNH, I'm high on this guy. Can be best of the class and his path to starting not too imposing.
5.01 Johnson, Michael CIN DE - Good potential and likely chance to start sooner rather than later.
7.01 Jarmon, Jeremy WAS DE - Hey, Redskins willing to give up next year's #3 for him (NFL Supplemental Draft), he'll hit the taxi squad for me.
Did very well with Waivers, addressed needs w/ a killer trade, and scored well with the draft (set up by Dragon's draft position - thank you).
My draft grade is an A (but time will tell).
Ok I'll play along - whats my line ? LOL
I love to my stamp on a league as soon as I take it over and made several waiver pickups that some could prove to be much more than the last two picks I had to give up in the rookie draft
1.05 5. Slash and Dash Brown, Donald IND RB ® I think Brown has what it takes to be an intregal part of the Indy Machine. Even with Addai still there (never finished in the top 30 of RB's in this league) I don't think it will be long for Brown to get the playbook down and from all that is being said and written Brown will be sharing carries from Addai from day 1.
3.05 29. Slash and Dash Stroughter, Sammie TBB WR ® A surprise out of Tampa Bay - could be a very good value pick in the 3rd round. The field is wideopen for Stroughter to make his place. Stay healthy and keep performing and he could be one of the starters soon.
4.05 41. Slash and Dash Scott, Bernard CIN RB ® A long shot at this point behind Benson (who I think very highly of) but again nothing but good being said about him from training camp. In the 4th round in a year or two and the RBBC being the rule rather than the exception. A good chance to produce and put up some numbers
5.05 53. Slash and Dash Beckum, Travis NYG TE ® - I followed this young guys career at Wisconsin and other than his injuries the guy has soft hands, can make the difficult catch, is quick rather than fast and has the ability to put up yards after the catch that the Giants will be happy with. If he can stay healthy - the Giants who are already amazed at his talent will find ways to get this guy on the field and without Plax and Toomer there is room for Travis to be like another Antonio Gates - more of a WR than a TE.
6.01 61. Slash and Dash McKillop, Scott SFO LB ® - A very talented linebacker coming to the 49ers where Willis is really the only stud at linebacker. In his first preseason game McKillop made a ton of tackles. I think he will pair up well with Willis and will be a solid #2/3 linebacker talent.
6.05 65. Slash and Dash No Pick Made Fri Jul 31 8:37:37 p.m. CT 2009 Pick Skipped By Commissioner
7.05 77. Slash and Dash No Pick Made Sun Aug 2 12:55:10 p.m. CT 2009 Pick Skipped By Comm

Still short a DE as he is now listed as a LB (I am in the same boat and pissed)

Yeah.

Gotta hate MFL sometimes. *sigh*
He is going to play both positions during a game (at seperate times of course LOL) but MFL has decided he will be a LB. Sucks.
