The Practice Squad draft is underway. However we are stalled at 1.01. Lord Opie has pre drafted the 1.01 pick but the pick won't go through until you manually pick or post the pick here for a commish to make the pick.

IF they are the same person and "they" both played in the same league, then he needs to be banned from The Huddle and booted from all leagues.

On another note...please check your draft notice boxes guys. On default all the boxes are unchecked.

All I know is there was an issue in a league, and he is no longer in that league. Both teams were kicked out. And there was plenty of proof...

I might have said too much, but whatever. I thought it was pretty f-ed up anyway, so Im just stating what I know.

I personally thought it should have been made public knowledge a long time ago, but I guess now it is.

Fwiw, I don't believe that loyal boyd and SMV are the same people. In fact I have been in leagues with Loyal boyd and he's a great guy as far as I know. I recruited him in the Interboard League. I also have attempted to get all the Huddlers that I play with on facebook. Loyal boyd and SMV are both friends of mine on FB and they aren't the same dudes. Hell, if they were the same person, SMV would be around and not MIA since Loyalboyd is around quite often. I haven't read all the "facts of the case" but I don't think it's fair to drag mud from another league into this one unless it is certifiably true.

Well, like I said, Im not gonna say anything else, but MFL did confirm all activity was from the same IP. Think what you want, but I wont EVER play in a league with the both of them. If I had a choice, I wouldnt want to play with him here either, but Ill just play and beat him again.

I have no doubt that one may have been playing both teams if the other went MIA.

I have been guilty of that several times, I've set lineups for several MIA teams in various leagues over the years.

Now, I would never make a trade, let alone with my own team, but it's possible that one owner was not interested in playing and the other was taking advantage of the situation.

Neither of which, I condone , but it's not cheating, just a little unethical, imo.

This is yours and TOS' league, so if you don't have a concern, then cool.

But how long do we wait for him? If the draft started, does he get skipped at some point or an auto-pick?

Since they are in separate divisions, there is no possible way of colluding , so I have no issues whatsoever.

FWIW, Loyalboyd was in All Pro last year and I commished. He was away for work a lot, and his girlfriend was making his picks for him. She was a FFer too.

Now, it is possible the she was the one who owned SMV, hence the IP address coming up the same when MFL looked into it. I'm with MV...personally I don't know what to think but he is a cool guy from what little I have interacted with him, and I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

For the concerns of those in a Ladder league with him, just make sure Loyalboyd and SMV are not in the same league. That's all.

Please answer how log are we gonna wait for him? I have eleven committed and eager owners waiting for a guy that has made one post since he was kicked from a league for being the same person as the commish who is also another team's owner. SMV did not once say one word in the post to say his team wasn't being controlled by LB. At the least LB should be shunned for using commish powers to survey every offer and waiver bid that was made in the league.

DD , this division is yours to commish as you see fit. If you would like to move forward without him, I support that as well. I just posted my thoughts.

Let me know if you want a replacement owner, MV and I can remove him from leaguesafe and from the MFL site.


Mikes Vikes and myself are site facilitators for this league, we do not have anything to say over each division. We just get things up and running and give some overall help for the league.

Each division has an elected, appointed or volunteered commish that has been approved by a majority of that leagues owners. Like any other league, run it as if it was your own and if you need some advice or help, please ask and we will only give our opinion.

I sent THREE, I sent PMs, I tried calling, I tried sending a text, there has been no response to any of these attempts. Loyal Boyd's alias isn't answering. In my dealings with Loyal Boyd he was shady. I was in the WDDL SuperBowl against him, and while ended up winning on a tackle with about a minute left in MNF, he had already sent me an AIM message saying that if we tied he was going to declare himself the Champion and take 1st place money, and I would receive second. There is/was nothing in the rule addressing this situation, he was just going to act unilaterally, that's why I split.

How long are we gonna wait?

I believe this is Doc Holliday that was away because of work and his wife was the one that drafted for him. But Loyalboyd knew of the situation. One thing about Loyalboyd is that he's a people person and wheels and deals and knows lots of guys more than others may know. At least that is my take of the situation. Some guys can come in and learn and know more of the players than others do.

I have removed SMV from Leaguesafe and MFL.

MV will move the next owner in line up to the Practice Squad to fill that void.

Loyalboyd is in the Hall of Fame league and that is a separate issue.


I have also been accused on cheating on these forums before, it was proven not to be the case and the accuser has since recanted , but at the time it made me look bad. I err on the side of caution only because of my experience with it.

I had to delete the draft completely. It let me add a dude to the draft but it didn't remove SMV. It had 13 drafters. I rescheduled the draft and put in the new order with replacing SMV with MrTed. Unless you want MrTed to roll his own either way.

I guess he gets the pick at 2...


Would have preferred at least a small discussion on what to do with the roll that wasn't done by SMV in the first place.
