We need to lock down a day for the 2009 AGS draft. This will also set the keeper deadline.

Our traditional draft day has been the last Sunday in August. If we were to keep the same day, that would make this year's draft day Sunday, August 30th at 8:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time

Please post if that is a good or bad day and time for you. Some alternatives could be the next Sunday or Monday night, which is Labor Day evening. Please post so we can finalize the draft day as soon as possible.

Aug 30th works for me. I'm good if you wanted to move it up an hour or 2 so it's not so late
for you East Coast guys.

Us east coasters have tried this in the past....it just doesn't seem to work for the left coasters. As I recall, we generally get it done in about an hour and a half.

If we start at 8:15 p.m., we should be done by 10:30. I remember it being done a little after 11:00 last year and we started at 8:30. I'm still worried about perch. Anyone heard from him? He hasn't posted here since he posted that he would be back. I'm not sure what to do with missing the keeper deadline.

He drafted last week in Huddlers Glory and you said he has been on the Huddle and not responded to your messages. Even though he was one of the 1st to say he was back this year maybe he really doesn't want to be.

He's on every day and yet does not respond. It may be time for emergency measures.

Just heard from Perch. He is fine, just been very busy. He will be here for the draft next Sunday as well.

Are we letting him declare keepers after the deadline? We have never had anyone miss the deadline before.

Since we have no rule for this.... commish decision.

I say a $5 fine, goes to the winner of the supe. let him declare sleepers. JMHO. I know I would rather ante up another fiver.... no keepers would be a pretty severe penalty.

Maybe a new rule..... a week late, lose one keeper, two weeks late, lose both? This sort of rule would require that league dues be paid well before keepper deadlines or it would have no teeth..... which is OK for some activities, but not in FF.

When can I make a waiver move to correct this?

I went ahead and made a waiver move since the site allowed me to.... the first time I tried it said the commish had not allowed waivers yet.

Have you noticed that about 4 other teams had already made transactions?

Would have been nice to have seen a thread here on when waivers opened....

I believe we mentioned that in the draft room when the draft was ending.
