1.01 - Adrian Peterson , no brainier here , didn't blink once. No way would I ever consider MJD , not a fan at all.

Like Sarge's pick of LT at #3 , I've seen LT get dropped to the 5 spot in many drafts, and I wouldn't let him past me at #3 in any draft either.

If I was at 1, Id have taken AP and never blink either. I love MJDs potential. But a Cowboy RB was also suppose to be a stud when he became starter, and he didnt hold up. So until you do it for a whole year, the risk is too high this early IMO. I thought about another injury prone RB at 3, who I think if healthy could be the top scoring in the league. IMO, there isnt much difference between 1 and 5 this year. I think AP is the safest pick in the draft, his only fault is he doesnt catch many balls, which in this scoring could net 4-6 pts a week. But he may not need to, to outscore other backs. I dont like the value of LT at 3, since I think he could have probably been there at 5. But it wasnt like 5 was knocking down my door to move up, either.

It cant be too bad playing Denver, Oak, and KC twice a year either, with alot of other weapons on offense to prevent defenses from keying on one position. Sproles doesnt really scare me much, as he isnt big enough to be a full time back, and LT will get all the goal line carries, and still catch 50 balls. Now he just needs to stay healthy. Which is a big if...

Couldn't pass MJD at #2, mainly b/c of PPR. Could work out well, but who knows??? Couldn't think of someone else with more potential at #2, but like you said, not a whole lot of difference in the top-5. MJD is is an every down back and will get plenty of touches. I am worried about his durability though. But... every player is one play away from IR. Just ask Tom Brady.

I don't like LT at #3... his best days are behind him, and he will lose carries to Sproles. I agree that he would have been there at #5. I had someone else in mind at #3. My guess is that he'll go next.

If we all liked the same player at every pick, everyone would be disappointed with their draft. This is why we play the game.

I agree.

Picks 6-12 will be interesting...

wow, after talking to #5, LT and Jackson both wouldnt have slipped to me if I moved down. Guess if I wanted either of them, Id have had to of had a top 4 pick.

Darn straight. I thought one of them would have made it to me, as I didn't engage you in trade talk.

I'll take Forte at 5 though. Dwill was never a consideration for me and Turner, well, in a PPR his value slips. As I mentioned in my IM's with #3, it was too early to go WR.
