Are we considering instituting return yardage and/or return TD points for individual players this year?

I had asked if anyone wanted to make any changes and most felt pretty strongly that we should leave things as they are. However, like anything else, if the majority wants to add return yardage TDs to individual players, I'd be open to it. Again, however, as of right now points for return TDs are being credited to the Team Defenses, so that would change. I honestly, rather leave it the way it is.

The only way I'd go for individual awarding of pts for return yds/TDs would be if we went to IDP instead of team D. What happens if an O player scores on a return? Do both the player and the team get the pts? Add that a lot of CBs return kicks, and so the depth of return men is shortened significantly, and I'd prefer not to go to this (could you draft and use a CB who is a top return man as an individual player in your lineup?).

That is something I already addressed in my post. If we gave individuals points for kick returns than those points would not also count for the Team D/ST. It's one or the other. I hate IDPs and do not want to go that route and would be out if the majority wanted to move to such a change. Like I said, I want to keep things the way they are now but if the majority wanted change the only change that would take place is if the team D/ST would lose the points for kick/punt returns and individual players (Leon Washington) would get them. I also agree with your point that since there are so few RBs/WRs that the depth is shortened.
