Barring any unforeseen glitches, we should be ready to start drafting Monday AM! Though the draft order will likelyb e complete later today, I think it prudent to give our two newest teams a chance to get up to speed on the rules, and plan for the draft.

We'll likely open the draft up on Saturday/Sunday, but the official timer won't start ticking for those on the clock until Monday morning. If you have an early pick, or want to pre-select, you should be able to start once we load the draft order into the site sometime later tonight.

As usual, the draft is a long process. Please do your best to keep checking the site as often as possible over the next couple weeks to try to keep things moving. it usually takes 10-14 days to complete a draft of this size. We don't want it to take longer, as we'll then be stretching into Labor Day, which could make things tight. if you can preselect your picks ahead of your selection, that too helps speed things uo!

A quick question for me as I get up to speed on rules/scoring

Were the same scoring rules in place last year as are being used this year? Just helps me as I look over last years results to see how the scoring plays out in real results.

I thought, and I could be spreading misinformation here (but that's one of my strong suits), that a first pick pre-select won't start a draft in MFL....the only reason I say that is we had a similar situation in LLD this year during our draft and I had to manually input the selection for the #1 pick from an email from him (as commish) because the draft wouldn't kick off with his pre-select.

As I said, I could be completely wrong, but I take that chance pretty much every time I open my mouth

Sorry, hate to disappoint everyone but I thought the draft started on Monday.

I have none of my stuff ready. I doubt I can make my picks today cause I really haven't looked at any redraft stuff yet.

I feel bad about it but anyone that has been in leagues with me before know I'm always ready to pick otherwise

I have no computer access at work & unless I'm within a couple picks I won't preselect. Also I have a 3 week old baby that may slow things down a bit. I'm off Tuesday this week so can check in more then.

how long is the timer set for and what time at night does it shut off Swam?

i would assume that's it's a 12 hour timer and must shut off about 2 or 3 am ET.
