And with pick 1.01, Thor's Hammer selects Adrian Peterson, RB, MIN

errrr Selects Adrian Peterson...

um Well, I'd like to select Adrian Peterson, RB, MIN but the site won't let me. Maybe we won't get underway a little early.

Draft cannot start until Fri Aug 21 6:00:00 a.m. ET 2009

:sadbanana:

Well, when 6:00 am rolls around and I'm still sleeping, irish knows who to take for me...

With Jackson still starting at QB and the league being ppr, I'd actually have to think about the decision. With Rosenfels being acquired, AD became a no-brainer. Now with Favre & Rosenfels on the roster as QB1 and QB2, it's beyond a slam dunk.

AP = #1 no matter who the QB is.

In the process trying to open the draft now but I'm having trouble accessing the site. Give me a minute...

Thought we were starting tomorrow?

I'll be travelling across the country from 6am-2pm PST -- I'll pre-select if the picks come near enough to my 12th spot but otherwise I apologize in advance if I end up holding anything up.

I started it tonight as BB was gettig the jitters. But the main reason I started it was because I really didn't think it mattered much as BB would make his pick tomorrow morning and the clock would start for the 2nd pick anyhow at 8:00:00. There will be a 12-hour time limit per pick and the clock will be shut off from 1 am ET to 8 am ET. And I'll probably shut it off on the weekend as I did last year.

Any issues, let me know... smile.gif

Guy, I apologize for the Saturday morning delay. I had to drive a friend to work and run some errands, and the whole thing took way longer than it was supposed to. whacko2.gif

I have to say this is one of the fastest drafts I've seen in a while. Three and a half rounds done in one day is great.

NP. You thik this is fast? This is slow compared to last year. I'm pretty sure we banged the whole thing out in like a few days.

Quick check to see if anyone is interested in trading up to 1 of my 2 swing picks (probably my second one). If I don't hear of any interest in a few minute so I'll just go ahead and pick.

EDIT: No takers, so I used 'em.

Matt Ryan at 4.11. For the first time in this draft, I can honestly say I'm bummed. I thought I could get him at least three rounds later. sad.gif

Terrific pick Mr. Terrific.

It's fast compared to some of the ones I'm in. I just checked, and BB had just made his 5.01 and 5.02. Two rounds a days seems good to me.
