For this year? Surely not. For next? I'd be cool with that - having four of the damn things running this week is a drain on my brain.

I'll admit I voted for long. If for no other reason trying to get a time/day that all would be available won't be easy spread across 3 time zones and to be honest w/ you i can't think ahead that well. The vote will stand on it's own feet and barring a different decision from PT (Both leagues have to do the same thing) regardless of how the vote goes, I will support our majority.
For me, a live draft would be much easier. I work M - Th (15 hour days with commute) with no MFL access
Either one is fine for me. I get impatient if it takes a long time to get to my next pick. Having said that, it might be tough to get 12 people to commit for a live draft. If an emergency arrives we can always adjust. Since I'm OLD, I'll forget how I voted anyway!
Setting aside 2 hrs one night is not that difficult to do. We do it every year for baseball. and more than likely by next year we will be the only HAG league left.

If it can be done cool but in my experience it's damm near impossible to get a date picked that works for everyone.

Huddlers Refuge started doing it about four years ago and it's only this year we couldn't get 'er done due to scheduling. We've reverted to slow for 2009. Live Internet is a lot of fun - takes about three hours, tops.
I'm impressed with how well we do the 'slow' draft. We'll finish the whole 18 rounds in about a week. That moves fast enough for me.

I voted for live because, frankly, I'm worried some of your old farts will EXPIRE before we get done.
