Just wondering. I'll be out of town starting the first Sunday of football season (yeah I'll be on a plane and missing most of the first day) and coming back Thursday night of the same week.

We draft after the second week of NFL games. Normally on a Tuesday evening but we will work out for sure which day right after the season starts.

Going to be cruzing from 9/19-9/27. Am I screwed? I'll have very limited wifi access.

I am thinking that you are screwed. Let us know which way you want us to go but unless I am looking at things wrong, I think we will be targeting that 9/22, 23, or 24 for our draft.

If RR is ok with the idea - maybe Sky would be willing to pinch hit on draft day, like he did in the past for Bunz when she has i-net access issues on draft nite? Also, Sky would be a great addition to the league as a Zia replacement, if Sky is in fact interested, although that means we'd need an alternative solution to the "RR issue". Just a thought.

I would love to have Sky involved in our league. I think that pinch drafter is a great idea but if Sky wanted Zia's spot then I would be very happy to give it to him. I think we need to see which way RR is leaning with this and see where we can go.

I'll join in whatever way you want. Either draft for RR if he wants/needs, or take the open team if you can't find someone else. Let me know what RR says.

Bunz at least had a paid cell phone last year. RR won't even have that I think.

You are da man! I would prefer to have you 100% join us. I mean I know we are going to have to take care or RR some way but I think we will find a way to do that and still have a great owner like yourself join us.

I will get with RR at some point tonight and see what he is thinking and then we will go from there. Thanks a ton and I know that I speak for all of us and not just TS and myself when I say that we are so happy to have you join us.

If Sky wants in for Zia, then so be it. As far as a solution to my predicament, I am open to any and all suggs.

We will dig up a drafter for you, RR. I am pretty sure you are going to be 100% disconnected while on the seven seas, right? If so, I can always dig up a drafter. I have gotten just about everbody in this league to stand in for a draft at one point or another. lol! Never for me but for other members in other leagues.

I will have to check and see what Ugly Tuna or Waterman is doing.

I will try to give you a call some time tonight to make sure we are on the same page.

I could talk drbob (son in law who lives next door and is a Huddler) into drafting for RR. He will be over here watching the Mariner game anyways.

And there you go. DrBob is okay with me and I remember him well enough to say that as long as RR is okay with him, then I would be fine with him.

That will work for me also! I had other ideas, but this is better. As long as he understands that I will have no/minimal web access and questionable cell phone coverage (Though I should be back in the states by Wednesday).

And rigth there is where we start. I also would strongly prefer that date. 9/23 and 924 are two days of the G20 Summit here in Pittsburgh and I am on a very special "on call" team that we are being told will almost certainly be called into action on those days. I did not even think of this until just the other day when I posted at thread in the tailgate asking if it was "normal" to steal from work.
